STANS premiered on Paramount+ on August 26, 2025, in the United States, Canada, Latin America, and Brazil. The Eminem documentary then rolled out on Paramount+ in additional territories, with the announced international dates extending through October 3, 2025.
Because those dates have now passed, viewers should check their local Paramount+ catalog for current access. Streaming libraries, subscription requirements, and territory rights can change.

International Paramount+ release dates
The streaming rollout was staggered rather than worldwide on one day:
| Territory | Paramount+ date |
|---|---|
| United States, Canada, Latin America, and Brazil | August 26, 2025 |
| United Kingdom, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria | August 27, 2025 |
| Japan | October 3, 2025 |
These are the announced launch dates, not a guarantee of present-day availability. Paramount+ catalogs can differ by country, and a title may require an eligible subscription tier or a local Paramount+ distribution arrangement. Viewers outside the listed territories should consult Paramount+ or their regional television and streaming listings.
Theatrical release and streaming release were separate
STANS had a limited theatrical release beginning August 7, 2025, before arriving on Paramount+ on August 26. In the United States, the engagement was handled through participating AMC Theatres and ran through August 10. The film also had international screenings announced by Trafalgar Releasing in more than 50 territories.

What is Eminem’s STANS documentary about?
STANS is an Eminem-produced and fully authorized documentary about the relationship between the rapper and some of his most devoted fans. It looks at Eminem’s career and public persona while examining the emotional, personal, and sometimes transformative ways listeners connect with his music.
The film combines archival material, intimate original interviews, and stylized recreations. Its title refers to Eminem’s 2000 song “Stan,” in which a fictional obsessive fan writes increasingly disturbing letters to the rapper. The character’s name became shorthand for an intensely devoted celebrity fan; the word “stan” was added to the Oxford English Dictionary in 2017.
