Eminem appeared as the surprise closing performer at Live From Detroit: The Concert, held at Michigan Central on June 6, 2024. The event celebrated the reopening of the historic Detroit train station after a multiyear refurbishment. Rolling Stone Canada reported the surprise appearance and live debut; the Associated Press covered the reopening celebration.
“Houdini” made its live debut
The concert marked the first time Eminem performed “Houdini” live. Local coverage also reported the debut, including ClickOnDetroit’s account of the performance.
Jelly Roll joined him for “Sing for the Moment”
Jelly Roll joined Eminem for an updated rendition of “Sing for the Moment.” This was a distinct part of the set—not a performance of “Houdini” with Jelly Roll. Rolling Stone Canada reported the collaboration.
