“Glamazons,” Elsbeth Season 3, Episode 9, aired December 11, 2025. Jaime Pressly guest-stars as a fallen 1990s supermodel who returns to New York for a reunion and revenge, drawing Elsbeth into a tangle of old grudges and lies. Pressly’s performance has earned praise, but calling it the series’ “best” villain turn is a judgment—not an established ranking.
What happens in “Glamazons”?
CBS’s episode synopsis sets up a reunion with a dangerous past: Pressly plays a once-famous supermodel who comes back to New York seeking both a reunion and revenge. Elsbeth must sort through old grudges and lies to catch a killer. The official description also flags a subplot that puts Officer Hackett in the spotlight.

That is the verified outline, not a full account of the murder case. CBS’s public synopsis does not identify the victim, explain the murder, spell out a motive, or reveal the killer. Without a verified scene-by-scene account, those details should not be filled in by guesswork. This recap therefore stays with what the episode’s official description establishes rather than presenting an unverified solution as fact.
Is Jaime Pressly the killer?
CBS identifies Pressly’s character as the fallen supermodel at the center of the revenge plot, and its synopsis says Elsbeth catches a killer. It does not explicitly identify the killer. The available official episode description therefore does not establish whether Pressly’s character is the murderer; a definitive yes-or-no answer would require confirming the reveal in the episode itself.
#1 Best Overall
Does Pressly deliver the show’s best villain performance?
There is a case for singling out Pressly, but “best” is an opinion rather than a verifiable series-wide distinction. The official premise gives her character a useful dramatic tension: a return framed by both reunion and revenge, with old relationships and lies in the mix. That setup can support a villain who is more than a simple threat, but the synopsis alone cannot show how Pressly plays it scene by scene.
Critical response offers support for praising her without settling the ranking. A Fangirlish review said Pressly’s guest appearance “just…works,” while also criticizing how the episode fit its theme. A favorable excerpt on Rotten Tomatoes’ episode page praises Pressly for giving a killer depth by balancing horror at her actions with empathy for why she commits them. Those are critical assessments, not proof that she outranks every other villain on the series.
Rank #2
A fair verdict is that Pressly’s performance was praised and the episode gives her character a revenge-driven premise with emotional potential. Whether it is the show’s best villain turn depends on the viewer’s comparison with other performances, not on an established critical consensus.
