Elizaveta Neretin joined Lioness for season 3 as an international operative whose path crosses Joe, played by Zoe Saldaña. A January 2026 casting report described it as a “major recurring role.” Neretin had previously appeared in Mayor of Kingstown, but that credit does not establish a character crossover between the two Taylor Sheridan series.
What role does Elizaveta Neretin play in Lioness season 3?
A January 29, 2026 report reproduced by IMDb said Neretin was cast in a “major recurring role” as an international operative who crosses paths with Joe. That role description and the “major recurring” label come from the casting report, not Paramount’s announcement. Read the casting report reproduced by IMDb.
In an August 6, 2026 interview with The GATE, Neretin described her character as “the spark that ignites the story.” The interview calls her a series regular, while the January report calls the part a major recurring role; those are the respective sources’ descriptions. Read Neretin’s interview with The GATE.
Does her Mayor of Kingstown role mean there is a crossover?
No crossover is established by the available reports. Neretin’s earlier appearance in Mayor of Kingstown is an actor credit; it is not evidence that she reprises the same character in Lioness or that the shows share a story. The casting report presents her Lioness role as a new international operative.
