Pakistani YouTuber Saad ur Rehman, known as Ducky Bhai, was released from Lahore’s Camp Jail on 26 November 2025, after the Lahore High Court granted him post-arrest bail on 24 November. The bail order required surety bonds of Rs 1 million, and his release followed a magistrate’s review of the bail documents and issuance of a release warrant. Bail did not end the criminal case: in February 2026, Rehman and other accused were indicted and pleaded not guilty.

What is the gambling-promotion case about?
The case concerns allegations that Rehman promoted online gambling or betting applications through digital content. According to APP’s account of the FIR, he was accused under sections 13, 14, 25 and 26 of Pakistan’s Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016, and sections 294-B and 420 of the Pakistan Penal Code. Did his release mean the case was over?
No. Bail permits release from custody subject to the court’s conditions; it does not resolve the accusations. Dawn reported that on 9 February 2026, a Lahore judicial magistrate indicted Rehman, his wife Aroob Jatoi, and other co-accused. Bank accounts and YouTube uploads
On 23 February 2026, Dawn reported that the court restored Rehman’s frozen bank accounts and conditionally allowed him to upload YouTube videos. Aroob Jatoi’s bail
On 30 June 2026, APP reported that a sessions court confirmed interim pre-arrest bail for Jatoi in the related case. That report does not establish a later procedural outcome for Rehman. APP’s report on Jatoi’s bail.
