Important date clarification: “Ring in 2026” refers to the Downtown Dubai celebration on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, leading into Thursday, January 1, 2026. The official livestream was hosted by EmaarDubai on its verified YouTube channel. The stream listing began at 7 p.m. Dubai time; the Burj Khalifa fireworks took place at midnight in Dubai.
Watch the archived official EmaarDubai livestream. Since the event has ended, viewers should treat this as a replay rather than a current live broadcast.
The official Burj Khalifa New Year’s Eve livestream
The official source for the 2025–26 celebration was EmaarDubai’s verified YouTube channel. Its listing was titled “Watch EMAAR NYE 2026 Live from Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai!”.

The 7 p.m. listing time was the beginning of the broadcast, not the fireworks time. The fireworks were scheduled for midnight Dubai time, when December 31 changed to January 1.
Dubai New Year’s Eve 2026 livestream times
Dubai uses Gulf Standard Time, or UTC+4. The following conversions apply specifically to the celebration held on December 31, 2025. They should not be reused automatically for the next event.

Time-zone conversions can change with daylight-saving rules and future event schedules. For another New Year’s Eve, check the official Emaar listing rather than assuming the previous year’s times will remain unchanged.

What viewers could expect from the broadcast
Emaar’s event information described a Downtown program built around the Burj Khalifa show and the surrounding celebration. Announced elements included:

The official stream listing established the broadcast, but it did not mean that every announced element would appear as a separately timed segment. The online camera view could also change between the tower, performances, fountain programming, and the wider Downtown atmosphere.
Where people could watch in Downtown Dubai
For those attending in person, the options varied considerably in price, access rules, and certainty of entry.

Free public viewing areas
Emaar listed dedicated public viewing zones around Downtown Dubai, including areas around Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard. These areas did not require tickets or badges, but admission was first-come, first-served. Capacity limits could stop further entry even though the viewing areas were free.
Public zones also included LED screens and live broadcasts, which helped people who did not have a direct line of sight to the Burj Khalifa. Emaar’s public viewing information should be checked for the event-specific map and rules.

Burj Park
Burj Park was presented as an exclusive, ticketed viewing experience, with food, beverages, entertainment, and views of the Burj Khalifa show. The reviewed official information confirms the ticketed format but does not establish a general ticket price, so prices should be checked directly with Emaar for any future event.
Dubai Mall restaurants and cafés
Some restaurants and cafés with views of the Dubai Fountain and Burj Khalifa offered access to prime promenade viewing areas. A confirmed reservation alone was not necessarily enough. Guests needed the relevant badge or wristband.
Emaar’s guidance stated that entertainment-only bookings did not automatically provide promenade access. Restaurant guests were told to collect credentials by December 30, with the restaurant guidance specifying no later than 11 p.m. Badge collection or validation was not available on the event day, and lost badges could not be replaced according to the event guidance. Emaar listed nearby properties including Armani Hotel Dubai, Address Downtown, Address Dubai Mall, Address Sky View, Palace Downtown, and Vida Dubai Mall. Hotel guests received access instructions and badges for their own property.

A hotel badge was not a universal pass to every Downtown viewing zone or paid venue. Guests were advised to arrive before road closures and to follow their hotel’s own instructions. Hotel and restaurant rules could also restrict outside fireworks, confetti poppers, outside alcohol, and pets.
Sky Views Observatory
The official Emaar Attractions listing described a New Year’s Eve package at Sky Views Observatory from AED 3,000. The listed package ran from 8 p.m. until midnight and included access, food, beverages during the specified period, a souvenir, and views of the Burj Khalifa fireworks. Seating was shared.
This was a premium dining and observation experience, not a requirement for watching the free official livestream. Details and availability should be verified on the official Sky Views Observatory page.
Road closures, transport, and arrival timing
Emaar expected road closures as early as approximately 4 p.m., while Downtown celebrations were scheduled to begin from 5 p.m. Visitors were advised to arrive by around 4 p.m. or earlier, particularly if they had a reservation or needed to collect a credential.

- Metro: Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Station was identified as a public-transport access point.
- Taxis: Taxis were expected to operate before closures, but access and drop-off could become difficult once roads closed.
- Driving: Designated parking could be first-come, first-served, but an open car park did not guarantee that vehicles could reach it after checkpoints or road closures were introduced.
- Final instructions: Check Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority for current metro, bus, taxi, pedestrian, and road information. Operational arrangements can change close to the event.
Visitors should not assume that leaving Downtown and returning later will be easy. Crowds, access controls, and one-way pedestrian flows can make re-entry difficult.
How to prepare for the online stream
- Open the official EmaarDubai YouTube page before the listed start time.
- Confirm that the channel is EmaarDubai or that the video is linked from Emaar’s official event website.
- Test the YouTube app, smart-TV app, casting device, or HDMI connection in advance.
- Use a stable broadband or mobile connection, and keep a backup device or browser tab ready.
- If playback buffers, reduce the video quality, close other high-bandwidth apps, or switch networks.
- If the scheduled URL disappears, search the official EmaarDubai channel rather than selecting a random repost.
A YouTube account can help with reminders and chat, but the available information did not establish that an account or a paid YouTube TV subscription was required. The official Emaar broadcast was available directly through YouTube.
Viewers should also expect that a broadcast may begin with pre-show coverage rather than fireworks. Live video can be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or subject to regional availability. A VPN should not be treated as a default fix because it can create platform, account, or payment issues.

- Confusing the year: “NYE 2026” described the event welcoming 2026, held on December 31, 2025. The next event welcoming 2027 is on December 31, 2026.
- Confusing the stream start with the fireworks: The listing began at 7 p.m. Dubai time; fireworks were at midnight.
- Trusting a search-result title: Unofficial channels may reuse the Burj Khalifa name or show old footage as live.
- Assuming free means guaranteed: Public areas were free but capacity-controlled.
- Assuming a mall booking is enough: Prime promenade access required the correct restaurant credential.
- Using one badge everywhere: Hotel, restaurant, residence, and paid-event credentials were not interchangeable.
- Arriving after closures: A reservation does not remove the need to plan around road and pedestrian restrictions.
If you mean New Year’s Eve 2027
As of August 18, 2026, the next celebration will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2026, leading into January 1, 2027. It is therefore more accurate to call that event the celebration that will “ring in 2027.”
Do not reuse the 2025–26 YouTube URL, 7 p.m. start time, event map, prices, transport arrangements, or access rules without new official confirmation. Replace the archived link with the next official Emaar livestream once Emaar publishes it through its official New Year’s Eve hub.
