The Under the Vines season 3 trailer sets up a fight for Oakley Wines: newcomer William says he owns half the vineyard, while Daisy Monroe and Louis Oakley try to get him out. The problem is that his claim may be legitimate.
What happens in the season 3 trailer?
Acorn TV published the official trailer on July 30, 2024. Set six months after season 2, it follows Daisy and Louis as they try to oust William and protect the vineyard. The trailer’s synopsis leaves the key question open: William may have a valid claim to half of Oakley Wines. It also says he is getting close to vineyard rivals Don and Marissa. Watch the official trailer on Acorn TV’s YouTube channel.
Who is returning, and where is the story set?
Rebecca Gibney returns as Daisy Monroe, a former Sydney socialite, and Charles Edwards plays Louis Oakley, an ex-London lawyer. John Bach and Sarah Peirse are also among the season 3 cast. The story is set around Oakley Wines, a small vineyard in Central Otago, New Zealand. The series is a romantic comedy-drama about the pair’s vineyard and love lives. AMC Global Media’s season announcement describes the new season and its cast.
What does season 3 cover?
The vineyard dispute gives the season its central legal and personal complication. Perpetual Entertainment’s production synopsis says a legal battle is pending over William’s claim, and that Louis’s legal knowledge could help Daisy, Louis, and Vic challenge it. That is a story setup, not a verdict on whether William’s claim succeeds.
