The announcement named Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Trunks, Frieza, Cell, and Majin Buu, and said the boxes would be available “while supplies last.” That was the campaign’s original availability language—not confirmation that the boxes are still on shelves.
What was the Dragon Ball Z and Reese’s Puffs collaboration?
It was a limited-edition packaging collaboration pairing Dragon Ball Z with REESE’S PUFFS cereal. Midori Harase, a campaign participant, reposted the REESE’S PUFFS announcement and described the promotion as a limited-edition cereal collaboration. A retailer catalog also lists a physical item titled “DRAGON BALL Z X REESE’S PUFFS LIMITED EDITION CEREAL DBZ,” corroborating that the collaboration was a cereal product, not just a fan-made concept. The catalog entry does not establish present stock or whether a seller is an authorized source.
The announcement copy relayed by Harase thanked General Mills, Toei Animation Inc., and Crunchyroll for their work and partnership; it did not specify each organization’s contractual role. Read the repost of the REESE’S PUFFS announcement and view the retailer catalog entry.
Which character boxes were announced?

- Majin Buu
The announcement encouraged shoppers to “collect all 7.” That establishes the seven character designs promoted, but not that every store received every design. The available sources also do not establish differences in cereal contents between the boxes.
Can you still buy the boxes?
The announcement said the boxes were on shelves “while supplies last.” That describes the original campaign language; it does not verify current retail availability. The catalog listing confirms the product name but offers no proof of current inventory. Current stock, prices, and the status of any Amazon listing are not established by these sources.

- Design: Check which of the seven character designs appears on the package.
- Condition and completeness: Collectors may want to assess the box’s condition and whether it is complete, rather than relying on a character name alone.
- Seller and stock status: Distinguish original retail stock from resale. A catalog entry or a seller’s listing by itself does not establish that an item is currently available through an authorized retailer.
No sourced production count, sales figure, or measured collector-demand statistic is established for the collaboration.
