Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFor summer 2026, an adult Dolomiti Supersummer lift pass costs €67 for one day, €145 for three days used within four, €185 for five days used within seven, or €415 for the season. A local Alta Badia pass is cheaper for an itinerary concentrated in that valley, starting at €47 for one day. Access rules are local rather than destination-wide: Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi) requires advance parking reservations from June 29, 2026, and its private-vehicle road closes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Other trailheads, lifts and huts have their own operating or booking rules.
How much do Dolomites lift passes cost in summer?
The prices below are the published Summer 2026 adult and junior rates. Multi-day tickets are not simply a number of rides: they allow the stated number of use days inside a consecutive calendar window. Always check the live operating calendar before buying, because a pass cannot make a closed lift run.
| Pass | Adult | Junior | Validity |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dolomiti Supersummer day | €67 | €47 (under 18) | One day |
| Dolomiti Supersummer 3 of 4 | €145 | €102 (under 18) | Three use days within four consecutive days |
| Dolomiti Supersummer 5 of 7 | €185 | €130 (under 18) | Five use days within seven consecutive days |
| Dolomiti Supersummer season | €415 | Separate child season price is listed by the operator | Summer season |
These are the rates on the official Dolomiti Superski lift-pass page. Children under eight can travel free when accompanied by a qualifying adult ticket, but the operator separately lists a child season price; do not assume that every season product is free. Carry identification when a child or junior tariff depends on age.
When does the 2026 summer lift season run?
The operator lists the overall 2026 summer season as May 14 through November 8. The Sellaronda is listed for June 13 through September 27. Those are headline calendar periods, not a guarantee that every cable car or gondola operates each day. Individual lifts can have shorter seasons, maintenance closures, weather suspensions and different first and last departures. Check the specific lift’s live status and timetable for your intended date.

Is a local pass cheaper than the region-wide pass?
It can be, if your walks and lift rides stay in one valley. Alta Badia’s Summer 2026 card has lower prices than the region-wide product for the durations shown below, but the products do not automatically cover the same lifts.
| Alta Badia Summer Card | Adult | Junior | Validity |
|---|---|---|---|
| One day | €47 | €33 | One day |
| 3 of 4 days | €72 | €50 | Three use days within four consecutive days |
| 5 of 7 days | €93 | €65 | Five use days within seven consecutive days |
| 12 of 14 days | €165 | €116 | Twelve use days within fourteen consecutive days |
| Seasonal card | €228 | €176 | Summer season |
Alta Badia states that children aged 0–8 (born after January 1, 2018) are free, while junior status requires identification. Confirm the birth-date rule and bring proof of age at collection or inspection. Full details are on the Alta Badia Summer Card page.
How should you choose between the two?
- Map your lift days first. List the valleys and named lifts you will actually use, rather than choosing a pass from the number of days alone.
- Use the local card for a concentrated stay. Alta Badia’s 1-, 3-of-4-, 5-of-7-, 12-of-14-day and seasonal prices may reduce the fixed cost when you remain in that area.
- Use the Supersummer product for cross-valley plans. Its value depends on the geographic coverage and included lifts needed for your route, not merely on its higher headline price.
- Check exclusions before paying. A pass that looks regional may still omit a particular ascent or require a separate ticket.
Are all Dolomites lifts included in the Dolomiti Supersummer pass?
No. The pass has specific exclusions. It is not accepted for the Ortisei–Furnes, Furnes–Seceda and Fermeda lifts used for the Seceda ascent. If Seceda is central to your itinerary, budget for the applicable lift ticket or verify the current alternative product before arrival.
Coverage is also not identical among local passes. The Alta Badia Summer Card excludes the Lagazuoi cable car, although card holders receive a discount. Treat the pass map and terms as part of your route planning: an attraction can be in the same valley and still sit outside a card’s validity.

For each planned ride, check four things on the current operator information: whether the lift is included, whether it is operating on your date, whether a reservation or timed boarding system applies, and whether the return or connecting lift has the same schedule.
Do I need to reserve parking in the Dolomites?
There is no single parking rule for the entire Dolomites. Requirements depend on the exact trailhead, municipality, valley authority or transport operator. The clearest 2026 reservation requirement applies to Seiser Alm (Alpe di Siusi).
Seiser Alm parking from June 29, 2026
From June 29, 2026, parking at the P1 Spitzbühl and P2 Compatsch lots requires an online reservation. Reservations can be made up to six days before arrival. The Seiser Alm authority’s parking-reservation page gives the live booking conditions, entry deadlines, payment rules and cancellation limitations; read those terms for your date because an arrival after the stated cutoff can invalidate the booking.
| Lot | Vehicle fee | Reservation timing |
|---|---|---|
| P1 Spitzbühl | €15 per vehicle per day | Online reservation available up to six days before arrival |
| P2 Compatsch | €30 per vehicle per day | Online reservation available up to six days before arrival |
The private-vehicle road to the plateau is closed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. during the applicable period. A reservation does not mean you can drive in at any time: confirm the permitted entry window, the lot’s arrival deadline and the route instructions shown for your booking.

What about other trailheads?
Do not generalize the Seiser Alm rule to every lake, pass, refuge or hiking start. For another destination, check the responsible municipality, valley tourism authority or transport operator for parking reservations, shuttle requirements, road closures, fees and arrival limits. If you are staying at a refuge, ask the refuge directly whether its access road or parking area has a separate system.
Can I drive to Alpe di Siusi in summer?
Only within the local access rules. During the restriction described above, private vehicles cannot use the Seiser Alm road from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plan to arrive before the closure if your reservation and the live authority terms permit it, or use the designated lift and public-transport alternatives shown by the destination. A parking reservation is for the named lot and date; it is not a blanket permit to drive across the plateau.
Because entry controls and reservation terms can change, open the live Seiser Alm page immediately before travel and follow its stated cutoff, payment and cancellation conditions. If your itinerary depends on a late-morning arrival, verify that the permitted access window works before booking a non-refundable activity.
Does buying a lift pass mean the hiking trail is open?
No. A lift pass gives access to eligible lift rides; it does not certify that a trail is open, snow-free, safe for your ability level or suitable in current weather. The official Dolomiti Supersummer information presents lifts as ways to reach hiking routes, viewpoints and biking areas, and links travelers to mountain guides, but trail conditions are live and route specific.

- Check the lift’s operating status and the mountain forecast on the day of travel.
- Look for local trail closures, construction notices, snow, storms, rockfall or high-wind warnings.
- Confirm the descent plan: a lift may run uphill while a connecting trail or return lift is closed.
- Allow time for the final downhill section and the last lift, especially on multi-lift routes.
- Use a qualified mountain guide for terrain beyond your experience.
Start with the official Dolomiti Supersummer activity page for destination links, then verify conditions with the local lift company or tourism authority responsible for your route.
How far ahead should I book a Dolomites mountain hut?
There is no single Dolomites-wide booking window established for every hut. Lead times, deposits, payment methods and cancellation rules are hut specific. Contact the refuge you intend to use directly, state your dates, party size and whether you need dinner or baggage arrangements, and obtain written confirmation of the reservation terms.
Apply the same principle to popular trailhead transport and special-access services: the relevant valley authority or operator, rather than a destination-wide system, controls availability. If a route crosses several valleys, check each overnight stop and each transport leg separately.

- Lift access: choose the pass whose coverage and use-day window match your rides; add excluded lifts such as Seceda’s ascent or the Lagazuoi cable car where necessary.
- Parking or access: include the applicable reservation fee, shuttle or public-transport fare and any restricted-entry timing.
- Accommodation: price each base town or mountain hut separately, including the hut’s required meal plan or deposit.
- Transport: calculate flights or rail, rental car, fuel, tolls, inter-valley buses and transfers rather than applying one regional average.
- Food and activities: add meals, guides, bike hire, equipment and weather-related alternatives according to your plans.
Separating known ticket prices from variable expenses prevents a low lift-pass total from being mistaken for the cost of the whole trip.
A practical booking sequence
- Write the route by valley and date. Mark every lift, trailhead, refuge and transfer, including rest or weather-flex days.
- Check operating calendars. Compare your dates with the overall May 14–November 8 season and the June 13–September 27 Sellaronda period, then confirm each individual lift.
- Test pass coverage. Match every planned ride to the pass terms and flag Seceda and Lagazuoi exclusions.
- Reserve constrained access. For Seiser Alm visits from June 29 onward, reserve P1 or P2 when the six-day booking window opens and record the arrival deadline.
- Book huts directly. Ask each refuge for its current availability, deposit and cancellation conditions; do not assume one central reservation platform.
- Recheck shortly before departure. Weather, lift status, road controls and trail conditions can change after tickets and lodging are paid.
Common planning mistakes and fixes
Buying the broadest pass automatically
Problem: A regional pass costs more but may not cover the specific lift you assumed it did. Fix: compare the lift list and exclusions with your route before purchase.
Counting calendar days instead of use days
Problem: A 3-of-4 or 5-of-7 product is used as though every day in the window must be a lift day. Fix: schedule the allowed number of operating days inside the consecutive-day window and reserve a weather-flex day.
Arriving at Seiser Alm without a timed access plan
Problem: A traveler has a hike but no reservation, or reaches the road after the private-vehicle closure begins. Fix: book the correct lot within the six-day window, read the live entry cutoff and keep a public-transport alternative.
Assuming a lift ticket proves trail suitability
Problem: The lift runs, but a connecting trail is closed, snow-covered or beyond the group’s ability. Fix: check local conditions, weather, route difficulty and the last return lift on the same day.
Treating hut bookings as standardized
Problem: A reservation made through an unrelated platform does not match the refuge’s own rules. Fix: contact each hut directly and confirm its deposit, meals and cancellation policy.
