Before subscribing, check the price and renewal terms shown for your country at Globoplay’s official checkout—and confirm that its regional catalog fits what you want to watch.
What is confirmed about a Globoplay promotion?
Globo confirms that its products are available internationally in selected markets, but its international-availability and subscription-help pages do not name a current international promotion or set out a discount, promotional duration, expiration date, or renewal price. Those pages therefore establish international availability, not a specific deal. The cited help information was available on August 16, 2026; an offer can change, so the checkout page or the provider selling the subscription is the place to verify what is available when you buy.
Do not rely on an advertised price or “three months for the price of two” claim unless the official checkout or the relevant provider displays it for your country and account. User posts are not confirmation of an official offer. Globo directs customers to its sign-up flow to see the available subscriptions and billing options: how to subscribe to Globo products.
Which countries can access Globoplay International?
Globo lists direct international availability in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Japan, as well as these European countries:

The service is not available everywhere. Globo says availability is still restricted to listed markets; check the official international availability and content information before subscribing, particularly if you are traveling or live outside these countries.
How to check an offer and subscribe
Direct subscriptions can be made through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, and Globo also provides an online sign-up flow. The price, billing provider, and available plan can depend on the country and channel you use. Compare the actual checkout terms rather than assuming one price or promotion applies to every market.

- Check whether taxes or other charges are included, how cancellation works, and whether Apple, Google, or Globo will bill you.
- Review the contract before completing payment, and save the confirmation showing the offer and renewal terms.
Globo’s subscription instructions describe the sign-in, plan selection, cart, and payment process, but they do not establish a universal promotional price or cancellation term. Treat the terms shown by your actual billing channel as controlling.
Direct subscription or access through a TV provider?
In the United States, Globo identifies Dish and Sling as television operators through which Globoplay International may be available as a benefit with qualifying packages. That is different from buying a standalone Globoplay subscription: eligibility and any extra cost depend on the provider package. Check the provider’s current offer before changing or adding service.

| Route | What to check | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|
| Direct through Globoplay or an app store | Country-specific plan, total charge, renewal terms, and which company handles billing and cancellation. Globo lists the app stores and its direct sign-up route for international access. | Viewers who want streaming without adding a broader television package. |
| Dish or Sling in the United States | Whether the specific package qualifies, whether Globoplay International is included or costs extra, and which provider terms govern cancellation. Globo identifies these operators, but does not give their current package prices. | Households already considering or paying for a qualifying TV package. |
If you receive access through Dish or Sling, Globo says you may need to link the provider account to the titular customer’s Conta Globo. Its instructions for associating or removing a TV operator explain the account-linking process. If that provider is already linked to a different Conta Globo, it can prevent access through the account you are trying to use.
What does the international service include?
Globo describes international access as offering a selection that can include Brazilian series and films, Globo originals, novelas and programs, live programming from Globo’s international channel, Canais Globo content, and Premiere content where available. It is not a promise of the full Brazilian catalog: territorial rights differ, some programs cannot be shown abroad, and some may be edited when individual segments lack international clearance.

Sports rights are also specific to the event and territory. In its 2026 World Cup help information, Globo says Globoplay Internacional does not have the international rights to carry the tournament; live matches, replays, and match clips shown in programs are therefore unavailable abroad through that service. Do not subscribe on the assumption that international access includes every Brazilian sports broadcast. The official 2026 World Cup information sets out that restriction.
Globo also says Premiere can be viewable abroad in certain circumstances, while contracting Premiere is available only in Brazil. Viewing access and the ability to buy a separate sports product are not the same thing. Some other products and partner services remain Brazil-only, and the international service may not provide the same kids-mode functionality as the Brazilian offering. Check the specific title or feature you care about rather than inferring availability from a general plan description.

Who is likely to find it worthwhile?
Globoplay International may suit viewers in a supported country who mainly want Brazilian novelas, Globo originals, films, entertainment, or news and who are satisfied with a country-dependent catalog. Whether a promotion is good value cannot be judged without its actual discounted period and renewal price. Compare those figures with the regular price presented at checkout and with any TV package you already pay for.
It is a weaker fit if you live in an unsupported country, want the complete Brazilian catalog, or are subscribing primarily for a sports event whose international rights Globo has not licensed. If subtitle language matters, confirm it for the titles you plan to watch: the official information cited here does not establish subtitle availability across the catalog.
Before you pay: a short checklist
- Confirm your country is supported and that the service or title you want is available there.
- Verify the offer on the official checkout or provider page—not solely in a social post, coupon listing, or user comment.
- Record the promotional price, its duration, the subsequent renewal amount, billing frequency, and expiration date.
- Identify who bills you and where you must cancel: Globo, Apple, Google, Dish, or Sling.
- Check whether a qualifying provider package already gives you access, so you do not start a second subscription unnecessarily.
- Read the cancellation and access-end details in the terms shown by your billing channel.
Regional access problems and moving
“Video unavailable for this region”
The message can mean that the country is unsupported or that the particular title lacks international rights. Globo also notes that an IP address can be identified as belonging to an unsupported country even when that is not where you are. Check your connection and apparent location; if the IP location is wrong, Globo advises contacting your internet provider or a technician. See its region-unavailable troubleshooting page.
If you move
If you move to a country where Globoplay is unavailable, access may stop working; Globo recommends canceling the international subscription and obtaining an appropriate Brazilian plan where applicable. If you subscribed abroad and return to Brazil, Globo says you can generally access Globoplay and Canais Globo, with Premiere and Combate exceptions. Review the international availability guidance for the applicable circumstances.
If a Smart TV purchase fails
For eligible direct plans, Globo says a subscription can be started from a compatible Smart TV. If the TV displays “Oops, something went wrong,” the stated recovery path is to scan the QR code and finish the purchase on the website. Globo explains this in its Smart TV purchase instructions.
