Festival materials place Brookside in the context of a vacant heritage estate owned by Ontario, local aid efforts, residents’ concerns and political stakes. Northumberland Daily reported on October 5, 2026, that Home was scheduled to premiere on TVO on October 10 at 8 p.m., in connection with World Homeless Day. The report also said digital availability would start October 9 at 9 a.m. through the TVO Docs YouTube channel, website and Smart TV app. Because both dates are now past and schedules can change, consult the report for the announced plan and check TVO’s current listings to confirm whether the film remains available.
