These timings are that article’s Dubai calculation, not a universal calendar for every temple or family tradition.
Diwali 2025 dates in Dubai
The Dubai-focused Times of India article published October 17, 2025 gives Monday, October 20, as Diwali and the date for Lakshmi Puja. Its reported muhurat is 7:12–8:18 p.m. Dubai time.
The calendar also places Amavasya from 2:14 p.m. on October 20 until 4:24 p.m. on October 21. A lunar date spanning two Gregorian dates does not, by itself, mean the observance is assigned to both days: the cited Dubai article selects October 20 for Diwali and the puja window.

That article does not identify those as Dubai-local timings, so they should not be substituted into the Dubai schedule.
Why published Diwali timings can differ
When comparing calendars, check which city and time zone the calculation uses, who published the panchang, the tithi’s stated start and end, and which observance rule is being applied to select the puja evening. The available published sources do not establish one calendar followed by every Dubai temple. If you are attending a temple or following a family tradition, use its local calendar rather than treating a newspaper calculation as binding for all communities.
