Did the Avengers: Doomsday X-Men trailer leak?
Reports describe a clip appearing on X on June 13, 2026. Tom’s Guide characterized the original as heavily pixelated and without audio, and treated its authenticity as uncertain (Tom’s Guide). The material was described as showing Cyclops and an X-Men/Avengers fight, but that description is not confirmation of what happens in the film.
Some higher-quality posts were later removed after copyright-owner notices, according to The Direct. That does not establish that the footage is authentic: the outlet notes that copyright enforcement can also affect fake material (The Direct). The responsible answer is that an alleged clip circulated, but its provenance and authenticity remain unconfirmed in the cited reporting.

Has Marvel released an official X-Men trailer?
Marvel released an official X-Men-focused teaser on January 6, 2026. It features Stewart, McKellen, and Marsden, and explicitly says the X-Men will return in Avengers: Doomsday, as ABC News reported. Disney’s movie page also links official trailer and promotional material (Disney Movies). These are official releases; they should not be confused with, or treated as verification of, the clip reported online in June.

Disney lists Anthony Russo and Joe Russo as directors, and James Marsden among the cast. The film is scheduled to open exclusively in theaters on December 18, 2026, according to Disney’s official page (Disney Movies). Those confirmed details do not establish any plot description attributed to the alleged leak.
