No—the April 2024 TikTok that sparked marriage speculation was a joke, not an engagement or wedding announcement. Annalise Dalins tried a prediction filter that landed on “You will get married,” then captioned the clip: “Because obviously TikTok predictions are correct.” The couple later announced their engagement in September 2024. In AAP’s 2026 Brownlow coverage, Dalins was still described as Josh Daicos’s fiancée, with their wedding said to be weeks away; that coverage does not confirm that the wedding subsequently took place.
What did Annalise Dalins’s TikTok show?
In a clip reported by PerthNow on 10 April 2024, Dalins used a TikTok prediction filter that cycled through possibilities for the year and landed on “You will get married.” She smiled at the result and added the caption, “Because obviously TikTok predictions are correct.”
PerthNow reported that the video had received more than 50,000 views at the time of its article. That is the outlet’s April 2024 figure, not a current or independently verified TikTok count.
Was the video an engagement announcement?
No. The filter was the playful hook for a social-media moment, and the post did not announce an engagement or marriage. Fans responded with hopeful comments, including “What yes please Josh if you see this propose literally cutest couple oh my gosh,” “Engaged and married in the same year would be so wild,” “Manifesting this for you,” and “This would be iconic.” Those comments reflected excitement, not confirmation of a proposal.

Two days later, PerthNow reported on proposal footage and quoted Dalins’s caption: “The biggest & best surprise of my life 💗 the moment my best friend asked me to marry him.” In a December 2024 follow-up, she said the proposal took place in Greece and that she had thought the trip was a holiday. The report said wedding planning had begun.

The latest status established by the cited coverage is that they were engaged and preparing for a wedding. In its 2026 Brownlow coverage, AAP described Dalins as Daicos’s fiancée and said they treated the event as a practice run weeks before their wedding. Collingwood’s official Brownlow gallery also identified her as his fiancée.

That reporting places the wedding in the future at the time of the Brownlow coverage, but it does not establish a wedding date or confirm that the ceremony later occurred. AAP also named an Alin Le’Kal gown and Temelli diamond jewellery worn at the event; its description of the jewellery as 40 carats refers to the Brownlow jewellery, not the engagement ring.
