The split pick: Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page
The writers disagreed over the Lights Out Steel Cage match. Brookhouse picked Swerve, reasoning that AEW would be unlikely to have him lose two major matches in a short span. Mahjouri picked Page, arguing that a Page victory would extend the feud’s story. The contrast was between protecting Swerve after recent losses and using a Page win to push the rivalry forward—not a difference in published betting odds.
Matches without a published pick
The CBS Sports prediction summary did not name a winner for the Continental Championship four-way or any Zero Hour bout. No prediction is supplied here for those matches.
