Criminal acquittal is not a conviction

A homicide ruling and a spouse relationship each need precision
The Burroughs account describes an accidental killing and a homicide conviction, not an intentional-murder conviction. Because the cited account is a retrospective rather than a primary legal record, it is not a strong basis for treating the case as a central, fully verified list entry.
