Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part 1 is already streaming on Crunchyroll. It premiered on July 28, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. PT. The disappointing update is about the next film: Infinity Castle Part 2 is in production, but no release date has been announced.
The disappointing update is not that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle Part 1 is still waiting for a streaming date. As of August 12, 2026, the first film is already streaming on Crunchyroll: it premiered on July 28, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. PT. The unresolved news concerns Infinity Castle Part 2, which remains in production without an announced release date.
Crunchyroll confirmed the Part 1 streaming date in its official announcement, and its series page independently lists the movie as streaming from July 28. The announcement also says that subtitle and dub options are available, while warning that availability varies by region.
What the update actually means
| Question | Current answer |
|---|---|
| Is Infinity Castle Part 1 streaming? | Yes. Crunchyroll premiered it on July 28, 2026. |
| Where is it streaming? | Crunchyroll is the principal streaming destination identified by the official announcement. |
| Is it available everywhere? | No guarantee. Crunchyroll says availability, subtitles and dubs may vary by region. |
| Has Part 2 received a date? | No. The official announcement says Part 2 is in production but gives no release date. |
| Is the entire trilogy available? | No. The July 28 date applies only to Part 1. |
That distinction matters because the movie is the opening installment of a planned trilogy adapting the final major Demon Slayer story arc. The first film takes viewers into Muzan Kibutsuji’s Infinity Castle, where Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Inosuke and the Hashira face the Twelve Kizuki, according to the Crunchyroll Store’s film description. Part 1’s arrival answers the immediate “where can I watch it?” question, but it does not provide a timetable for the continuation.

How to watch Infinity Castle Part 1
For viewers in a supported territory, the straightforward route is to open Crunchyroll and search for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle. Fans can also use the official Crunchyroll title page. The service is the confirmed streaming home in the announcement, but readers should check the title page in their own country before subscribing or assuming that a particular language track is offered.
If you are ready to watch Infinity Castle on Crunchyroll, do not assume that every Crunchyroll plan, country or device offers identical access. The supplied announcement does not confirm plan-specific inclusion, 4K availability, video quality or buffering performance, so those details should be checked locally rather than treated as universal.
Why Part 2’s missing date is frustrating
Infinity Castle is not a conventional standalone sequel cycle with a fully published schedule. It is a trilogy designed to complete the franchise’s final major arc. That makes the gap after Part 1 especially significant: viewers can now watch the opening chapter, but they have no official timetable for the next theatrical chapter or its eventual streaming window.
There is also no sound basis for converting Part 1’s streaming date into a prediction for Part 2. A July 28, 2026 streaming premiere does not imply that Part 2 will arrive on Crunchyroll in a particular month or year. Until the studio or Crunchyroll announces otherwise, the accurate wording is simply that Part 2 is in production and has no announced release date.

Physical and digital ways to watch
Japanese Blu-ray and DVD
Aniplex’s official Japanese product page lists Infinity Castle Part 1 Blu-ray and DVD editions released on July 29, 2026. The page includes limited and standard editions, Japanese catalog information, prices in yen, bonus materials, music and booklets: Aniplex’s official product listing.
That is a confirmed Japanese home-media release, not proof of a U.S. Blu-ray or DVD edition. Before purchasing an import, check the exact listing for region compatibility, video format, Japanese-language packaging, subtitle and dub information, disc type, seller identity and return policy. Hardware compatibility and English-language options should never be inferred from the film’s Crunchyroll availability.
Fans who want a shelf copy can look for the Demon Slayer Infinity Castle Blu-ray, but check whether the listing is a Japanese import. The same caution applies to the Japanese DVD, particularly for buyers expecting an English-language North American release.
Digital purchase
A secondary report describes digital purchase options in selected territories, including Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube and Fandango. These should be treated as reported territory-specific options, not universal retailers for every reader. Check the storefront in your country for the current listing, language tracks, rental or purchase terms and supported devices. The report is available from Anime Trending.

For the United States in particular, the reviewed official sources establish Crunchyroll streaming but do not establish a specific current digital-purchase listing or a North American physical edition. Availability can change by territory, so a retailer search should be treated as a location check rather than a guarantee.
What to watch before Infinity Castle
Because Part 1 begins the final trilogy rather than restarting the story, new or returning viewers should catch up on the main series first. A spoiler-light order is:
- Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Season 1
- Mugen Train—either the feature film or the television adaptation, avoiding duplicate viewing if time is limited
- Entertainment District Arc
- Swordsmith Village Arc
- Hashira Training Arc
- Infinity Castle Part 1
The Crunchyroll Store’s Demon Slayer listings include prior-arc Blu-ray editions and Mugen Train media for viewers building a physical rewatch collection. A Demon Slayer manga box set is another useful catch-up option for readers who want the source material, but it is not a substitute for watching the film and exact listings should be checked before purchase.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. The bottom line for viewers
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 is no longer a streaming-date mystery. Crunchyroll released it on July 28, 2026, subject to regional availability. The genuinely disappointing update is that Part 2 still has no announced release date, leaving fans with the first chapter of the trilogy but no confirmed timetable for the next one.
For now, watch Part 1 on Crunchyroll where it is offered, verify local subtitle and dub options, and treat Japanese Blu-ray/DVD listings and reported digital retailers as edition- and territory-dependent alternatives. Do not mistake the Part 1 streaming date for a schedule covering the full trilogy.
