For the February 2026 Gucci show, Moore appeared with a dark bob cut visually to chin length and swept into a deep side part. Its glossy, damp-looking surface contrasted with the uneven, textured ends, which kicked outward at the nape. Did Demi Moore really cut her hair?

How is the Gucci bob different from Moore’s other short looks?
Moore has appeared with other bob-like styles, but they should not be mistaken for the February Gucci wig. The length, texture and method differ:

At the September Thom Browne show, ELLE quoted stylist Reece Wentworth saying that a bob’s balance with a client’s neck and jawline matters more than simply following a fixed length. His advice to revisit a cut every eight to ten weeks was general guidance for maintaining a sharp shape, not a universal schedule.

The Gucci look combined a wet-looking finish with movement at the ends. Who What Wear notes that gel is used to create a wet-look finish, but no source identifies the product Giannetos used on Moore for Gucci. A “wet look hair styling gel” is a general product category, not a verified item from her styling.

To adapt the look, work toward glossy definition while keeping the ends visibly textured rather than uniformly slick. The result can be created on existing hair without cutting it; a bob wig is another temporary option if you want to try the length before committing.
