DaddyLive is not conclusively confirmed as one globally shut-down service. The name has been used across changing websites, mirror domains, embedded players, Kodi add-ons, repositories, and unofficial stream APIs. A particular URL or add-on may be dead, blocked, obsolete, or unsafe even if another related domain responds.
Before searching for a replacement domain, identify what has failed: the website, player, individual channel, Kodi add-on, network connection, or the service behind the stream. Do not install an unknown player, extension, APK, or certificate to restore access.
Is DaddyLive permanently shut down?
There is no reliable evidence that every DaddyLive-branded site and add-on disappeared at the same time. The more accurate conclusion is that the ecosystem is fragmented and unreliable. Domains have changed or gone offline, stream sources have failed, Kodi maintenance has lapsed, and some domains may be blocked or redirected.

There is also current enforcement pressure against unauthorized streaming. On July 20, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice announced the seizure of more than 1,000 domains used to illegally stream 2026 FIFA World Cup matches. That announcement does not establish that every DaddyLive domain was seized. Separately, a March 27, 2026 Delhi High Court order listed daddylives.nl, daddylive.top, daddylive.cv, and daddylive.online among rogue websites in a blocking matter. That is jurisdiction-specific legal action, not proof of a universal global shutdown.
What the name “DaddyLive” can refer to
“DaddyLive” is not necessarily one centralized, consistently maintained product. The name has appeared in:
- Browser sites listing live television and sports streams.
- Mirror or rebranded domains.
- Pages embedding video from separate hosts.
- Kodi add-ons and repositories using DaddyLive or DLHD names.
- Unofficial channel-list, API, or stream-source endpoints.
A directory such as daddylive.pk may list alternative domains, but a website’s claim that it is an “official mirror directory” is not independent proof of ownership, safety, authorization, or continuity. Chasing a new domain can expose you to impersonation sites and malicious advertising.

First identify what is broken
The error pattern usually narrows the cause:

Safe troubleshooting steps
- Record the exact URL or add-on name. “DaddyLive is down” is too broad because several domains and Kodi projects may be involved.
- Check whether unrelated websites work. If many sites fail, restart your router and troubleshoot the internet connection first.
- Reload once and try a private browser window. This can identify stale cookies or local page data without changing security settings.
- Try a current second browser or another device. If the failure is limited to one device, browser data, extensions, DNS settings, malware, or an incorrect system clock may be responsible.
- Clear site data for the exact domain. Do not clear passwords or unrelated accounts unnecessarily.
- Restart the browser, device, and router. These are reversible steps that can clear temporary DNS and networking problems.
- Check the device date and time. An incorrect clock can cause certificate and authentication errors.
- Test another legitimate network only as a diagnostic. Mobile data may show whether the problem is network-specific. If a workplace, school, parental-control system, or ISP blocks the domain, do not evade that restriction.
- Use DNS settings cautiously. You can flush the local DNS cache or use a reputable resolver if you understand the consequences. Do not install random DNS applications, certificates, browser extensions, or “special players.”
Do not assume a VPN is the answer. A VPN may help diagnose a network-level difference, but it cannot repair an expired domain, dead embed host, removed stream source, broken add-on API, invalid TLS certificate, or seized and redirected domain. It also does not make unauthorized streaming legal or guarantee privacy, safety, or access.
If the website loads but the stream does not
Try one other channel to determine whether the problem is isolated. Confirm that the event has actually started, reload the page once, and then stop if the site begins opening pop-ups or fake alerts. A working homepage can still rely on a broken media host or aggressive advertising network.
Do not keep clicking “Play” buttons that open new tabs, and never install an APK, executable, codec, browser extension, or certificate because a page claims it is required. Do not enter payment details, email passwords, or social-media credentials.

The DOJ has warned that operators of unauthorized streaming platforms may inject malware or attempt to steal payment information. That is a warning about the broader category of unauthorized streaming sites, not proof that every DaddyLive page contains malware. HTTPS, a functioning player, or a high uptime score is not a safety certification.
If the DaddyLive Kodi add-on is not working
Kodi and a DaddyLive-related add-on are separate products. Kodi itself is general-purpose software; the legal and security questions concern the add-on, repository, content source, and how they are used.
- Update Kodi only through official Kodi channels.
- Check whether the add-on is still actively maintained and whether its repository remains available and trustworthy.
- Back up Kodi settings before removing anything.
- Remove obsolete or abandoned repositories rather than adding random replacements.
- Do not install a ZIP file from an anonymous mirror simply because a forum post recommends it.
- If the error concerns a dead domain, API, SSL certificate, Cloudflare challenge, or backend endpoint, reinstalling Kodi repeatedly is unlikely to repair it.
- Remove the add-on and repository if they are abandoned, unsigned, or behaving suspiciously.
Community discussions have described recurring domain changes, Cloudflare behavior, SSL failures, repository outages, and maintenance problems, including reports in the r/Addons4Kodi community. These are user reports rather than authoritative technical documentation, so they should be treated as anecdotal indications, not confirmed root causes.

When to stop troubleshooting
Limited troubleshooting is reasonable when you are using a previously trusted URL, no suspicious prompt appears, and the failure looks browser- or network-specific. Abandon the site when:
- Several domains redirect to aggressive pop-ups or fake security warnings.
- You are required to install software, enable notifications, or disable security tools.
- The site requests payment or login credentials.
- The domain changes repeatedly and cannot be independently verified.
- Your security software detects malware or an unsolicited download appears.
- A Kodi repository is abandoned or untrustworthy.
- The event is available from a licensed broadcaster or official league service.
If you clicked a suspicious ad or downloaded something
- Close the tab and do not interact with further pop-ups.
- Revoke notification permission for the site in your browser settings.
- Remove any extension or application installed because of the page.
- Check downloads, browser extensions, startup programs, and recently installed applications.
- Run a full security scan and install pending operating-system and browser updates.
- If you entered credentials, change the affected passwords from a clean device and do not reuse them elsewhere.
- If malware is suspected, disconnect the device from sensitive accounts until it has been checked.
- Contact your card issuer immediately if payment details were submitted.
- Monitor email, banking, and social accounts for unusual activity.
- Keep the domain, screenshots, emails, and transaction records if you report fraud.
Merely visiting a page does not prove that a device was infected. Risk depends on what was downloaded, executed, permitted, or entered.
