Yes—Amazon Prime Gaming included Football Manager 2023 in a limited-time promotion beginning September 7, 2023. The offer was for the Epic Games Store, not Steam. Amazon’s announcement does not establish that the game can still be newly claimed, so treat it as a past promotion unless a current official listing confirms otherwise.
What the September 2023 Prime Gaming offer included
Amazon listed Football Manager 2023 in its September 2023 Prime Gaming lineup, with the Epic Games Store identified as the platform and September 7 as the start date. Amazon described the offers as available for a limited time. Its announcement does not give a final claim date, so it cannot establish how long the FM23 offer remained open. Amazon’s September 2023 announcement also said the game was unavailable in Brazil and that Prime Gaming offers could vary by region; it did not provide a full country-by-country list.
Can you claim it now?
The September 2023 announcement is historical, not evidence that a new claim is available in October 2026. The sources available here do not establish whether the Prime Gaming claim is open now or whether a code claimed during the promotion remains redeemable. Check the current Prime Gaming offer page and its stated redemption instructions before relying on access.
How Prime Gaming claims generally worked
Amazon’s general guide says Prime members sign in with their Prime credentials, browse available offers, select Claim, then follow the directions shown. Some offers use a code that must be redeemed through a storefront. Amazon lists the Epic Games Store among storefronts used for free games. This is general Prime Gaming guidance, not a preserved step-by-step walkthrough for the FM23 promotion. Amazon’s Prime Gaming guide explains the general process.

How the offer differed from the June 2023 free-play event
Two separate 2023 promotions can be confused. The September Prime Gaming offer was a limited-time claim for the Epic Games Store. Earlier, the publisher announced a free-play event: PC and Mac players could play FM23 on Steam until 6:00 p.m. BST on June 26, 2023, while Xbox Live Gold subscribers could access FM23 Console until 9:00 a.m. BST that day. Those were temporary play periods, not the September Prime Gaming claim. The publisher’s free-play announcement describes the June event.
What the boxed edition contained
A physical FM23 pack existed, but it did not contain a game disc. The publisher said each pack included a unique activation code that enabled play through Steam, Epic Games, or the Microsoft Store. This was a separate purchase option, not the Prime Gaming offer; current stock, price, and code availability are not established here. The publisher’s launch announcement describes the boxed edition and its packaging.
