El mullet de Peso Pluma surgió de forma espontánea en Medellín: un barbero le propuso un estilo popular en la ciudad y le pidió que confiara en él. El cantante primero se sorprendió con el resultado, pero luego se vio en un video y decidió que le gustaba.
La propuesta de un barbero en Medellín
En el relato de Peso Pluma reproducido por People en Español a partir de una entrevista con Billboard, el corte no nació de un plan previo del cantante. Durante un viaje a Medellín, Colombia, un barbero le ofreció hacerle un estilo que, según le dijo, era muy popular allí. Peso Pluma aceptó confiar en él.
El cantante explicó que normalmente no dejaba que cualquiera le cortara el pelo, porque lo consideraba parte de su identidad. Al ver el resultado, reaccionó con sorpresa y preguntó qué le habían hecho. Después grabó un video, se vio y cambió de opinión: le pareció que el corte se veía bien.
Cómo llevaba el pelo antes
Antes del cambio, Peso Pluma llevaba el cabello largo y peinado de lado, en un estilo que la nota compara con el de Justin Bieber durante la época de “Baby”. La transformación fue, por tanto, un giro visible respecto a su imagen anterior.

Qué significa “mullet” en este caso
En términos generales, el mullet es corto por delante y largo por detrás. Esa descripción permite entender el nombre del estilo, pero la nota no ofrece detalles técnicos suficientes para reconstruir exactamente el corte que llevó Peso Pluma ni atribuye al barbero una técnica concreta.
