The exclusive preview teased Tory Nichols losing an early Sekai Taikai bout to an Iron Dragons fighter—but that is not the end of her tournament story. In the later girls’ championship final, Netflix’s recap says Tory defeats Zara, another Iron Dragons competitor, to win the title.
What the exclusive preview shows
Yahoo Entertainment published the preview on October 29, 2024, ahead of Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 2. It features Tory, played by Peyton List, facing an Iron Dragons competitor during the Sekai Taikai in Barcelona. The preview’s framing is that Tory gets outmatched; it is a tease of one encounter, not a recap of the whole tournament. Read Yahoo Entertainment’s exclusive preview.
The clip’s memorable line is Tory’s fictional dialogue: “Welcome to Barcelona, bitch.” It is character dialogue, not a quote from an interview.
Why Tory is fighting for Cobra Kai
At the end of Season 6, Part 1, Tory leaves Miyagi-Do after her mother dies and joins Cobra Kai for the Sekai Taikai. The season takes the dojos to Barcelona for the international tournament. Netflix’s official Cobra Kai hub identifies Peyton List as Tory.

The preview bout is not Tory’s championship final
Keep the early preview matchup separate from the later title bout. Netflix’s finale recap says Tory knocks out Zara, an Iron Dragons fighter, to win the girls’ championship. The preview opponent and Zara are therefore not interchangeable: the preview teases an earlier loss, while the recap establishes Tory’s eventual championship result. Netflix identifies Rayna Vallandingham as Zara in its cast information. Read Netflix’s Season 6 finale recap.
Where to watch Season 6
Netflix and Sony identify Netflix as the streaming destination for Season 6. Availability can vary by territory. Sony describes Season 6 as the tournament’s culmination on its official Cobra Kai series page; Netflix’s series hub also provides official show information.
