Published accounts also report a relationship with Roxanne Tunis during his first marriage. After his 2014 divorce from Dina, Eastwood was publicly reported to be in a relationship with Christina Sandera, whose death he announced in 2024.
Clint Eastwood and Maggie Johnson: marriage and reported relationships
Eastwood married Maggie Johnson in 1953. Biography.com dates their marriage from 1953 to 1984, and ABC News reports that their divorce became official in May 1984. Public accounts describe separations during the marriage, so the dates of the marriage do not mean the couple were together continuously.
During the Johnson marriage, Biography.com and ABC News report that Eastwood had a relationship with dancer and actress Roxanne Tunis. They also report that Tunis and Eastwood had a daughter, Kimber. Brief accounts do not establish a precise start or end date for the relationship, so it is best understood as a reported relationship during the marriage rather than a fully documented private timeline.
Sondra Locke: a long relationship and legal dispute
Eastwood and actor and director Sondra Locke began a long relationship in the 1970s. Popular accounts place its end in 1989; Biography.com describes the breakup as bitter and reports that Locke filed a palimony suit. The broad arc is reported, but brief sources do not consistently settle the exact sequence or timing of other relationships during this period.

Frances Fisher and their daughter Francesca
Eastwood and actor Frances Fisher were romantically involved in the early 1990s. ABC News says their romance began in 1990. Their daughter, Francesca, was born in 1993, as Biography.com reports. Some accounts place the relationship’s end around 1995, though the relationship and their daughter are the more firmly established points.
Dina Ruiz and Eastwood’s second marriage
Eastwood met television journalist Dina Ruiz when she interviewed him in 1993, according to ABC News. That meeting does not establish when their romance began. They married in March 1996 and had a daughter, Morgan. They separated in 2013, and a judge finalized their divorce in December 2014, according to CBS News. Ruiz later used the name Dina Eastwood.

In a 2007 interview with Carmel Magazine, quoted by ABC News, Eastwood recalled what attracted him to Ruiz: “The big doe eyes. She’s a very forthright kind of person. It’s one of those things you can’t put your finger on because it’s pheromones or something. So we got married, and we had a child.”
Christina Sandera: Eastwood’s later publicly reported partner
The Los Angeles Times reported in July 2024 that Eastwood had announced the death of Christina Sandera, his longtime companion. The newspaper reported that they began dating in 2014. Eastwood said, “Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much.” This is the latest well-supported relationship endpoint in the cited reporting; it does not establish a relationship status after Sandera’s death.

What the timeline establishes—and what it does not
The marriage and divorce dates for Johnson and Ruiz are more precisely reported than the dates of Eastwood’s private relationships. Tunis’s relationship with Eastwood, the Locke relationship’s exact chronology, and the timing of overlaps are described in secondary accounts with less precision. Treat those as reported context, not as a complete or definitively verified chronology.
