In the August 28, 2023 finale, he correctly identified Monay’s famous father as J.B. Smoove; the reveal after his win showed that Gabriel’s own famous relative is his brother, Nick Cannon.
How the season 2 finale ended
The final three contestants were Gabriel, Monay, and Chris. Monay made the first correct guess, identifying Chris’s relative as his father, singer Donny Osmond. Chris was eliminated, leaving Gabriel and Monay.
Gabriel then correctly guessed that Monay’s father was actor and comedian J.B. Smoove. That guess eliminated Monay and made Gabriel the season 2 winner.
Who was Gabriel Cannon related to?
After Gabriel won, the show revealed that his brother is Nick Cannon. The finale aired on August 28, 2023, and the Los Angeles Times’ August 29, 2023 report said the finalists were competing for a $100,000 grand prize.
