Example prices and booking fee
The report listed $7.43 for a regular screening of Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and $13.01 for an IMAX ticket. These were examples from the 2022 report, not fixed prices for every theatre or screening; local prices could vary.
MobileSyrup also reported that Cineplex’s online booking fee during the promotion was $1.00 per ticket, reduced from the then-reported $1.50 fee. Those are historical figures, not current fee information. The article did not establish that format surcharges or other fees were removed.

How the report told moviegoers to check listings
For the promotion, MobileSyrup directed readers to check local showtimes and applicable prices on Cineplex’s website and look for the “CPX Tuesday” label. The report did not enumerate every possible exclusion or confirm that identical terms applied at every theatre.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Can you still use the offer?
No. The dates in the report were August 29 through September 1, 2022, so this was a limited-time historical promotion, not an available current offer. The report is useful for establishing what Cineplex advertised at the time, but it does not establish present-day ticket prices, booking fees, or promotions.
