The couple married in a private ceremony over Labor Day weekend in 2025. The Associated Press reported that the location was not revealed, and neither its report nor Vogue’s account establishes an exact wedding date or venue. Vogue reported the wedding on September 1, 2025; the Associated Press independently confirmed it on September 2.
Moretz and Harrison began dating in 2018 and confirmed their engagement on January 1, 2025, with a New Year’s Day post showing coordinating diamond rings. The Associated Press described the rings as Victorian in feel and reported that Elizabeth Potts of Moon Stone made them.

Moretz said she wanted a nontraditional dress and did not want to wear white. She traced the blue idea to a blue leather Louis Vuitton dress she wore to the Academy Gala and conversations about the color with her stylist, Nell Kalonji. As she told Vogue: “I knew I would do something non-traditional, and not wear white, and kind of have it feel different, and I think it really does.” That was Moretz’s personal design choice, not a claim about a broader bridal trend.
What did they wear to the after-party?
Their custom after-party outfits were also Louis Vuitton designs. Moretz wore a jacket and trousers inspired by a 2019 Louis Vuitton runway look, finished with a white cowboy hat. Harrison wore a bodice and trousers beneath a removable sheer overlay, detailed with metallic straps and covered buttons.
