The manager alleged that Chrisley slapped him twice in the face. He also told a 911 operator that he had been assaulted. FOX 5 Atlanta reported that audio released by authorities appeared to capture the manager saying during the call that he had been slapped again.
Police reportedly said restaurant security footage was provided to investigators. The reports describe the footage and 911 audio as evidence cited in the investigation—not as conclusive proof of what occurred. The manager reportedly declined medical attention and reported no injuries.

Fulton County jail records later showed that Chrisley was booked on Jan. 9, 2025, on a charge of simple battery. WSB-TV reported that he was released shortly afterward on a $10,000 bond. Some contemporaneous reports referred to his release on Jan. 11, so the clearest timeline is that the booking occurred Jan. 9 and his release followed soon afterward, with coverage documenting it by Jan. 11.

What did Chrisley’s representative say?
Chrisley’s representative, Adam Ambrose, denied that Chrisley assaulted anyone. As reported by FOX 5 and the Associated Press, the representative said Chrisley had called a driver, was trying to close his tab and leave, and believed the incident had been exaggerated or “blown out of proportion.”
That statement is Chrisley’s reported defense account. It is not independent confirmation of what happened, just as the manager’s account and the reported evidence descriptions are not a court determination that Chrisley is guilty.

Why did some reports say “simple assault” while the booking was for “simple battery”?
The early reports used “simple assault” to describe the incident while Chrisley was identified as a suspect. Later jail records reportedly listed the booking charge as simple battery.
