What is the latest update on Ghosts Season 6?
Season 5 is complete. CBS identifies “Gate-gate” as Season 5, Episode 19, and lists its air date as May 7, 2026. CBS’s episode listing confirms the finale’s title and date.
The next scheduled installments are two holiday specials: a Halloween special on October 29, 2026, and a Christmas special on December 10, 2026. Paramount+ describes both as hourlong specials for CBS and Paramount+. The regular Season 6 run is a separate matter: Paramount+ says it is expected at midseason in the 2026–27 season, with new episodes expected in early 2027, but gives no exact premiere date. Paramount+’s Season 6 guide was published July 29, 2026.

There is a conflicting listing to keep in mind: Paramount Global Content’s series page labels October 29, 2026, “S6 Premiere,” while Paramount+’s detailed guide identifies that same date as the Halloween special and places the regular Season 6 return at midseason. Until CBS or Paramount clarifies the listing, October 29 should be treated as the scheduled special date, not a confirmed date for the regular season premiere.

Where can you watch Ghosts Season 5?
Paramount+ says all five previous seasons are available to stream there. Its guide says new episodes air on CBS and stream on Paramount+: live viewing is available through Paramount+ Premium, while on-demand episodes are available the day after broadcast through any Paramount+ plan. Plan names and availability can change, so check the service’s current listing for your location.
What is Ghosts about?
The CBS comedy follows Samantha and Jay, a couple who inherit a country estate and try to turn it into a bed-and-breakfast. They discover that spirits of the property’s former residents still occupy it; Samantha is the one who can see and hear them. CBS’s series description gives the premise.
