The 300-piece figure is the announced production quantity, not a statement about how many remain available today.
Casio’s February 20, 2020 announcement called Lee a “legendary action film star” and noted that he would have turned 80 that year. The watch’s appeal is both commemorative and functional: it carries specific design references while retaining the connected timekeeping and durability features of the MR-G line.
Why does the reference appear in two formats?
Casio’s MR-G model history lists the watch as MRG-G2000BL-9A. The connected-model guide uses MRGG2000BL-9A, omitting the hyphen after MRG. Both identify the Bruce Lee limited edition; the difference in punctuation does not indicate a separate model.

What do the Bruce Lee design details represent?
The black-and-yellow color scheme recalls the tracksuit Lee wore in his last released film. Yellow and red also reference the Jeet Kune Do emblem. Casio incorporated additional personal and philosophical details into the watch:
- Bezel engraving: “Using no way as a way, having no limitation as limitation.”
- Case back: The same phrase appears in Chinese.
- Dial: Lee’s signature appears with 龍, meaning “dragon.”

How do GPS, radio, and power-saving claims work?
Casio specifies automatic radio reception up to six times per day, with up to five times per day in China. GPS reception is described as automatic when the watch recognizes that signals are available. Those are manufacturer operating descriptions, not a guarantee that reception will succeed in every location or setting.
Casio gives an approximate operating time of 23 months after a full charge when power-saving mode is enabled. This is a qualified specification; actual operation depends on use and conditions, so it should not be read as a universal everyday runtime.
