Her comments about child support, expenses and visitation were statements attributed to her—not court findings.
What Cardi B said about Offset
Complex reported that Cardi B reacted to Offset’s reported spousal-support request during an X Spaces stream on May 30, 2025. Complex quoted her saying, “I want you to die, but I want you to die fucking slow, n***a,” then adding that she wanted him to die slowly in bed and think of her. Complex’s May 30, 2025 report presented the remarks in the context of her anger about the divorce proceedings.

The Independent also reported the comments on June 2, 2025, quoting her as saying, “Word to my mother. I want you to die, but I want you to die f***ing slow, n****.” The outlet tied her reaction to an amended divorce response that reportedly requested spousal support. The Independent’s account describes the remark as part of an angry reaction; the reporting does not establish it as a prediction or a statement of planned action.
What was reported about the support request
The reports described Offset as seeking spousal support in an amended response in the divorce case. No court filing or official docket entry is cited here, so the request should be understood as reported by those outlets rather than independently confirmed from a primary record. The sources also do not establish a final ruling or the case’s outcome.

What Cardi B said about child support and visitation
According to The Independent, Cardi B said she had asked for “no child support” because she hoped to finish the marriage and said Offset was allowed to see their children. Complex quoted her saying, “I didn’t ask for no child support because I wanna be done with this marriage. Like, I feel like I’m tied up.” She also said, “There is not one day that he’s not allowed to see my kids, okay? He stood up my kids three times.”
Complex separately reported Cardi B’s claim that she covered more than $50,000 in monthly expenses for the children and her allegation that Offset had missed scheduled visits. Those figures and claims are attributed to Cardi B; the reports do not independently verify them, and they are not presented as findings by a court. Complex’s report contains that account.

Why the divorce filing date is unclear
The coverage gives different months for the initial filing: Complex says Cardi B filed in July 2024, while The Independent says she first announced the filing in August 2024. Without an underlying filing or another primary record to resolve the discrepancy, neither month can be stated here as definitive.
