Was the dress actually painted onto her body?
No. The reports describe sheer fabric decorated with beadwork, rhinestones or sequins—not paint applied to Delevingne’s skin. “Painted-on” captures the visual effect, but the garment’s illusion came from the way its embellished top appeared to depict a bare torso.
