A free scan shows the junk files, broken settings and background clutter dragging Windows down - then fixes them in one click.Free scan · Windows 10 & 11Technically, yes—but only if you have permission to livestream every song. YouTube accepts continuous live feeds sent through an encoder, but a playlist, music subscription, or “royalty-free” label does not by itself grant the rights needed to rebroadcast music. YouTube can detect third-party material during a live stream and warn, interrupt, or terminate the broadcast.
Can you loop a playlist on a YouTube livestream all day?
You can send a continuous feed to YouTube using an encoder and arrange for music to repeat. That technical capability is separate from permission to broadcast the recordings and compositions. YouTube’s livestream terms put responsibility on the content provider to have the necessary rights, including music licensing rights from artists, record labels, publishers and other royalty participants. Read YouTube’s livestream terms and conditions.
Before setting up a 24/7 stream, confirm that your rights cover the specific use: public live streaming, the places where viewers can access it, continuous or repeated playback, the planned duration, and monetization if applicable. Keep copies of licenses and permissions. A license for listening, downloads, or ordinary video use may not authorize a continuous live broadcast.
Does your music source allow 24/7 live streaming?
Check the actual license and, where necessary, get written confirmation from the rights holder. These questions help expose gaps before the stream goes live:

- Does the permission explicitly include live public streaming on YouTube?
- Does it cover the territories where the stream will be available and the length of time you plan to run it?
- Does it allow the same track to repeat continuously?
- Does it permit monetization or advertising, if you plan to earn from the stream?
- Is the track registered with Content ID, and can the rights owner allowlist your channel?
- Can you produce proof of permission and reach the licensor if a claim interrupts the stream?
Commercial songs or music-subscription tracks
Do not assume that a consumer streaming subscription grants permission to rebroadcast its songs on a YouTube livestream. The relevant question is whether you have the necessary rights for this live use; ordinary listening access is not proof of that permission.
Your own original music
Original music may still involve more than one rights holder. Confirm that you control the relevant rights in both the sound recording and composition, and check any agreements with a label, publisher, distributor, co-writer, performer, or other collaborator. YouTube’s terms require the provider to have the necessary rights for the live content.

Third-party licensed, royalty-free, or “free” music
“Royalty-free” and “free” are not substitutes for reading the license. YouTube says music described as free may still be flagged. Verify that the terms authorize livestreaming and looping, and retain the license and permission records.
If a licensed track is recognized by Content ID, YouTube advises creators to ask the rights owner to add their channel to its allowlist. Without allowlisting, a live stream may be interrupted even when the creator has a license. See YouTube’s tips to find safe music and its guidance on copyright issues with live streams.

YouTube Audio Library
YouTube recommends its Audio Library as a source of music for YouTube content. Check the terms for each track and follow any attribution or other conditions. That recommendation is not a blanket guarantee that every track is cleared for every 24/7 live-stream use.
What can happen if YouTube detects a song?
YouTube says it scans all live streams for matches to third-party content. If it detects material, it may warn you; if the material remains, it may interrupt or terminate the stream. A copyright strike may also terminate a live broadcast. Licensed tracks can still trigger detection, which is why permission and any necessary channel allowlisting both matter.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Will YouTube save a 24-hour livestream?
Do not count on YouTube to archive a full 24-hour broadcast as one video. YouTube says a live stream under 12 hours can be automatically archived; a stream longer than 12 hours may not be captured at all. The page does not promise an archive for every stream under that threshold. If you need a recording, keep a local backup. See YouTube’s archive guidance.

How to set up the live feed
YouTube’s encoder workflow uses a stream key: a credential that tells the encoder where to send the feed so YouTube can accept it. YouTube’s settings documentation explains the stream settings, but it does not establish that dedicated hardware is mandatory; choose a suitable encoder setup and follow YouTube’s current instructions at Manage live stream settings.
- Clear the music first. Confirm the rights for every track, including looping and the intended live use. Request channel allowlisting from rights owners when Content ID applies.
- Prepare the playlist and feed. Arrange the audio in the encoder or playback setup you will use to create the continuous feed. Check that playback repeats as intended before connecting it to the live event.
- Configure YouTube and the encoder. In YouTube’s live-stream settings, obtain or select the stream key and enter it in the encoder’s stream configuration. Treat the key as a credential; do not share it publicly.
- Start and monitor the broadcast. Confirm that YouTube is receiving the feed, watch for copyright warnings or interruptions, and keep the local recording if an archive matters.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo keeps a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Its cloud playback means nothing has to stay running at home. The stream uses your upload as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it does not re-encode or use quality tiers. StreamNeo also automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. These operating features do not grant music rights, so clear every track before streaming.
