Qualified yes: the YouTube guidance reviewed does not state a blanket ban on continuous streams of prerecorded lessons or Tamil-language broadcasts, and it does not set out a universal 24-hour duration limit. That is not a guarantee of uninterrupted streaming or approval for a particular channel. Before you start, confirm that your channel can go live, clear the rights to every element in the lessons, and understand that copyright checks or monetization rules may affect the stream.
What YouTube’s guidance does—and does not—say
YouTube describes live streaming as a way to interact with viewers in real time. Its guidance lists mobile, webcam, encoder, and console methods for going live. The materials reviewed do not promise that any method will keep a stream online continuously for 24 hours a day, nor do they set out a universal maximum duration for all live streams. They also do not identify Tamil as a prohibited language. Those points are limits of what the cited guidance states, not assurances that a particular stream will be accepted or remain uninterrupted.
For a prerecorded lesson feed, an encoder is one of YouTube’s documented streaming methods. The reviewed material does not designate a preferred method for prerecorded lessons; choose an approach that can reliably supply your video and meet YouTube’s current requirements.
Check channel eligibility before scheduling a stream
YouTube’s “Get started with live streaming” guidance says the channel must be verified, must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days, and must meet YouTube’s stated age requirement. Check the current eligibility details on YouTube’s live-streaming help page before preparing a continuous broadcast, since access depends on the channel meeting its requirements.

Clear rights to every part of each lesson
YouTube’s live-stream terms require compliance with its Community Guidelines and applicable law. They also make the content provider responsible for having the necessary rights to exploit the live content, including music rights where applicable. Review the complete recording—not just the main lecture—for material that belongs to someone else.
- Confirm that you own or have permission to use any third-party lecture footage, audio, music, diagrams, textbook pages, or other protected material.
- Check any exam papers, question sets, or other materials included in lessons; describing a stream as educational does not by itself establish that every use is permitted.
- If a licence has conditions, make sure the planned live use and your channel comply with them. Keep the relevant permissions available.
YouTube’s terms are available at YouTube Terms of Service. This is a rights check, not a guarantee that a stream containing licensed material will avoid automated copyright action.

Expect possible copyright interruptions
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. A match may cause a placeholder to appear, interrupt the stream, or lead to termination. YouTube also says that even a licensed third-party stream may be interrupted if the rights holder has not allowlisted the channel through Content ID. Review YouTube’s guidance on live-streaming restrictions and, where relevant, ask the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting before relying on a continuous broadcast.
Keep monetization separate from permission to stream
Technical access to live streaming does not mean a channel or broadcast will be monetized. YouTube applies its monetization policies to live streams, including its rules on reused content. Content that is repetitive or offers little educational value, commentary, or meaningful transformation can be ineligible. Having permission to use someone else’s material does not, by itself, settle whether the content meets monetization requirements.

For board-exam lessons, original teaching, explanations, and meaningful value from lesson to lesson are relevant considerations, but they do not guarantee monetization approval. Read YouTube’s channel monetization policies alongside the rights requirements: copyright enforcement and reused-content review are separate issues.
Run the prerecorded lessons continuously
If you choose a do-it-yourself encoder setup, prepare the lesson source and verify that your channel has live-stream access before scheduling the broadcast. Follow YouTube’s current encoder instructions and settings for the specific software or device you use; the guidance reviewed establishes encoder streaming as an option but does not prescribe universal bitrate, resolution, keyframe, or loop settings for this kind of stream.

- Prepare the playlist. Arrange the recordings in the intended order and check that each file plays through. Review the whole playlist for rights issues before broadcasting.
- Set up a live stream in YouTube. In YouTube Studio, use the live-stream setup flow and select an encoder-based stream. Follow the current on-screen instructions for the stream key and connection details.
- Configure your encoder. Enter the stream details supplied by YouTube and select the prepared lesson source or playlist. Use settings supported by both the encoder and YouTube’s current guidance; there is no one bitrate or resolution established by the sources reviewed for every recording.
- Start and monitor the broadcast. Confirm in YouTube Studio that the stream is receiving video and audio. Keep the encoder and the computer or other source running for as long as you want this setup to supply the stream, and check for connection or copyright interruptions.

Troubleshoot the main risks
- You cannot start a live stream: check channel verification, the stated age requirement, and whether the channel had a live-streaming restriction in the last 90 days.
- The broadcast is interrupted or replaced by a placeholder: review the recording for third-party content and check YouTube’s copyright notice. If you have a licence, contact the rights holder about Content ID allowlisting; a licence alone may not prevent an interruption.
- The encoder stops supplying video: confirm that the source is still playing, the encoder remains connected, and the stream details match the current YouTube Studio setup. A do-it-yourself feed depends on its source and connection continuing to run.
- The channel is not monetized: assess reused-content eligibility separately from copyright permission. Add original instruction and meaningful educational value where appropriate, while recognizing that approval is not assured.
