It schedules when a live event starts; YouTube’s published instructions do not describe a feature that switches videos at chosen clock times inside one continuous stream. To automate prerecorded video, you need a playback or streaming workflow. Some services support playlists and continuous looping, but those features do not by themselves prove that a service can change videos at exact times of day.
What YouTube’s scheduling features actually do
Scheduling a live stream schedules its start
In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room, choose Manage, and schedule a stream for later. YouTube says the upcoming stream may appear in subscribers’ feeds, where viewers can select “Notify me.” This creates a scheduled live event; it does not set a timed lineup of videos within that event. See YouTube’s encoder and live-stream scheduling instructions and its live-stream settings guidance.
Scheduled uploads are separate from a live broadcast
YouTube Studio also lets you schedule an uploaded video to become public at a chosen date, time, and time zone. That publishes an individual video; it does not insert the video into an already-running live stream. YouTube explains this separately in its scheduled publishing instructions.
What you need for different videos in one continuous stream
Think of the stream as two parts: the YouTube live event, and the source sending video into that event. YouTube’s encoder workflow covers scheduling and connecting an encoder, but the creator or service must arrange the video playback and any changes. A playlist that plays videos one after another is not necessarily a clock-based schedule: “video A at 9 a.m., video B at noon” is a more specific capability that you should verify with the provider before relying on it.

- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- For sequential playback or a loop: choose a playback workflow that queues or repeats the videos you select.
- For exact time-of-day changes: confirm that the workflow supports clock-time switching within one continuous event, rather than only a sequence, loop, or separate scheduled broadcasts.
- For separate releases: schedule each upload for publication if you do not need one continuous live event.
Before committing to a workflow, check whether it produces one continuous stream or separate events, where files are stored, what connection or upload reliability it depends on, any runtime cap, current plan requirements and total cost, and whether you have rights to every video in the lineup.
Hosted options: playlists and looping are not necessarily dayparting
StreamNeo
StreamNeo is the first option to consider for a YouTube stream that should stay live from prerecorded videos: it runs from the cloud, supports looping and playlists, and streams uploaded video at its original quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot; the first day is free. Its documented features support continuous playlist playback, not a promise of clock-time switching between specific videos. Check that distinction if exact dayparting is essential. Details are at StreamNeo.

OneStream Live
OneStream Live describes prerecorded video streaming, playlists, scheduled broadcasts, and 24-hour looping on its prerecorded streaming page. Its Help Center article, last updated September 3, 2026, says 24/7 streaming is YouTube-only, requires Enterprise, and has a maximum duration of 30 days; its separate playlist article, last updated September 10, 2026, says playlists queue videos back-to-back and are available on Professional and Enterprise plans. Those details establish playlist and continuous-stream options, but do not conclusively establish clock-time switches within every 24/7 stream. Confirm the required behavior and current terms with OneStream Live: 24/7 streaming requirements and playlist setup and availability.
Gyre
Gyre describes uploading videos, creating a playlist, and looping it in a 24/7 YouTube stream. That is evidence of continuous looping, not evidence that individual videos can be assigned specific clock times. Check the required schedule behavior directly on Gyre’s product page.

Plan for long-stream playback and video rights
YouTube warns that DVR rewind may be limited or unavailable for live streams longer than 12 hours. That matters if viewers are expected to rewind to an earlier part of a continuous broadcast; the stream’s duration does not guarantee a full rewind window. Read YouTube’s DVR guidance.
Make sure you have the rights needed to stream every included video. A playlist or automation service does not grant rights to the footage, music, or other material it plays. YouTube’s scheduled publishing feature also should not be mistaken for a way to put separate uploads into a live broadcast.

Or let it run in the cloud
For a continuous YouTube stream from prerecorded videos, StreamNeo’s workflow is: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. StreamNeo loops the video from the cloud, so your computer, OBS, and home connection do not have to stay on. It supports the quality you upload up to 4K 60fps at one price per slot, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly: $9.99 per month. This is continuous playback, not a claim of clock-time dayparting; verify timed switching if that is a requirement. Start your free day with StreamNeo.
