Camarote Pride brought a dedicated LGBTQIAPN+-focused space to Salvador’s Barra/Ondina Carnival circuit for the 2024 edition. Organizers announced a two-floor venue with open bar, parade views and entertainment; those details describe the historical event, not a confirmed current or recurring edition.
What Camarote Pride Salvador was
POPline reported Camarote Pride as a new addition to Salvador Carnival in 2024, positioned for LGBTQIAPN+ revelers and presented by its organizers as a welcoming space centered on diversity and integration. The article called it the first Salvador camarote focused on this audience; that is an attributed description, not an independently verified historical ranking. POPline’s 2024 report framed the project as a differentiated experience for the circuit.
Guto Melo, identified in the report as the project’s creator and owner of Agência ZPNG, said: “É uma grande honra trazer o Camarote Pride para Salvador, que é uma cidade que eu amo.” That quotation expresses the organizer’s enthusiasm; it is not evidence of measured social impact.
Where and when it operated in 2024
The reported dates were February 8–13, 2024. POPline placed the venue at Avenida Oceânica, 819, in front of Morro do Cristo, on the Barra/Ondina circuit. It described two floors and a capacity of 1,000 people. That figure is a reported venue capacity, not a count of actual attendance.

These were announced features for that edition; the report does not establish that each was delivered as planned or that the same program will return.

What is known about later editions
A Tarde’s 2025 Carnival guide refers to Pride as occupying the site in 2023 and 2024, and describes a different camarote for 2025. That provides context, but does not by itself prove that no separate Pride event was announced later. The available reporting does not establish a current edition, dates, lineup, ticket seller or services for a future year.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Keep Camarote Pride separate from Camarote Salvador
Camarote Pride Salvador and Camarote Salvador are different brands. Official material for the latter’s 2026 event describes its own stages, programming and services; none of those claims should be transferred to Camarote Pride. For a future Carnival, confirm the event’s identity and edition directly before relying on a venue, lineup or ticket announcement.
