Bunnings’ Western Australian stores raised more than $100,000 during the 2025 Telethon Weekend, according to the company’s post-event update. The fundraiser included a sausage sizzle announced for 18 October 2025, with all proceeds from sausages sold at participating WA stores going directly to Telethon. Osborne Park was excluded.
What happened at the 2025 Bunnings Telethon sausage sizzle?
Bunnings announced the sausage sizzle for Saturday, 18 October 2025, from 8am to 4pm at its stores across Western Australia, excluding Osborne Park. The announcement did not provide a complete store-by-store participant list.
Bunnings said 100 per cent of proceeds from every sausage sold would go directly to Telethon. The fundraiser also included donations at registers and children’s handcrafted “Positivity Pegs,” made during recent weekend D.I.Y. Workshops and offered for a gold coin donation.
How much did Bunnings raise for Telethon?
In an update dated 22 October 2025, Bunnings reported that its WA stores raised more than $100,000 during the 2025 Telethon Weekend. The update gives a combined event total; it does not break down how much came from sausage sales, register donations or Positivity Pegs. The reported sum therefore should not be attributed to sausage sales alone.

The sausage sizzle was one part of the wider Telethon Weekend, held on 18 and 19 October 2025. It also reported that the Telethon Family Festival was scheduled for 19 October around RAC Arena, including Wellington Street between RAC Arena and Yagan Square. Those details describe the 2025 programme, not current event listings.
