CBC launched a dedicated, free ad-supported Schitt’s Creek channel in Canada in October 2025. At the time of the launch report, it was available on CBC Gem and carried all six seasons plus the one-hour farewell special, Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell. LG Channels and The Roku Channel were announced as planned Canadian additions for later that fall; check those services’ current channel guides for availability.
What is on CBC’s Schitt’s Creek channel?
Channel Canada reported on October 22, 2025, that the channel included all six seasons of the comedy and the one-hour farewell special Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: A Schitt’s Creek Farewell. The channel is a dedicated linear stream centered on the existing series, not a newly commissioned season. Channel Canada’s launch report identifies the content lineup.

Where can you watch it in Canada?
At the time of the October 22, 2025 report, CBC Gem was the named Canadian platform where the channel was available. The report said distribution on LG Channels and The Roku Channel in Canada was planned for later in fall 2025. That was a rollout plan, not confirmation of current listings, so check CBC Gem or the relevant Canadian connected-TV channel guide for the channel today.
What does FAST mean?
FAST stands for free ad-supported streaming television. In CBC’s usage, these are free streaming channels supported by advertising. Unlike choosing an episode from an on-demand catalog, a linear channel presents a stream according to its schedule; the launch report does not specify a particular programming sequence or timetable for the Schitt’s Creek channel.
#1 Best Overall
The launch fits CBC’s existing move into the format rather than marking its first FAST offering. CBC’s 2024–2025 corporate plan described CBC Comedy as its first FAST entertainment offering and listed CBC Gem, Roku and LG-connected TV platforms among its outlets. CBC’s 2024–2025 corporate plan provides that context. CBC describes its FAST options as free, ad-supported channels; its CBC News Explore page provides an example of CBC’s digital and connected-TV distribution.

A linear FAST channel is designed for watching the stream as it runs, while on-demand services let viewers select a title or episode from a catalog. The launch announcement establishes the channel’s reported lineup, but does not establish whether every episode is also available on demand through CBC Gem, what the channel’s rotation is, or how availability compares with other services. Those details can vary by platform and territory.
