What did Jimmy Fallon say about hearing “Who” early?
A companion video, also published by the official show channel on July 22, is titled “Jimmy Got a Sneak Peek of BTS’ Jimin’s New Song ‘Who’ in Studio.” Its description says Fallon talks about running into Jimin in the recording studio and hearing the song before its release. The available listing describes the anecdote but does not provide a full transcript, so it should not be treated as a verbatim quote. Watch the official Fallon studio anecdote video.
Why was the appearance prerecorded?
Yonhap reported that Jimin filmed the appearance before his December 2023 enlistment and was serving in the South Korean military when the July 2024 announcement was made. This is the context reported at that time, not a statement about his present status.
