Brock Lesnar’s best WWE matches depend on what you value: historical impact, championship stakes or the shape of the contest itself. On those measures, three bouts stand out: Lesnar ending The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak, surviving John Cena and Seth Rollins in a title triple threat, and defeating Goldberg for the Universal Championship. This is an editorial watch list, not an objective all-time ranking.
How these matches were chosen
This list weighs historical consequence, championship stakes, match structure and momentum, and whether WWE’s own retrospective singled out a bout. WWE’s retrospective is useful evidence of the company’s editorial view, not a universal consensus. The matches are ordered by the strength of their documented historical case, not by a claim that every fan will prefer the same in-ring style.
1. Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker — WrestleMania 30
Date: April 6, 2014. Stakes: The Undertaker’s WrestleMania Streak. Outcome: Lesnar won, ending the Streak at 21-0.
This is the essential Lesnar match for its place in WWE history. The official WWE match retrospective describes Undertaker enduring earlier F-5s and submissions, Lesnar kicking out of a Tombstone, and Lesnar reversing a final Tombstone attempt into a third F-5 and the winning pin. The finish made the result—not simply the championship record—the defining consequence of the bout.

WWE reported 75,167 attendees at WrestleMania 30. WWE writer Ryan Murphy captured the moment in the same article: “The sound of 75,167 rowdy people going silent all at once? It’s indescribable.” That is WWE’s authored description, not an independently measured account of every fan’s reaction. WWE later included the match in its 100 best matches retrospective, another reason it belongs on a shortlist of Lesnar’s most consequential bouts.
2. Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins — Royal Rumble 2015
Date: January 25, 2015. Stakes: WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Outcome: Lesnar retained.

Where WrestleMania 30 turns on one historic finish, this triple threat keeps changing hands and momentum. WWE’s official match recap recounts Lesnar going through the announce desk, Cena landing an Attitude Adjustment, and Rollins attacking Lesnar before briefly battling Cena one-on-one. Lesnar returned, German-suplexed both opponents, caught Rollins’ Curb Stomp and hit the F-5 to retain.
WWE’s account also says Lesnar was wrestling with injuries, including a broken rib suffered at Rollins’ hands. That context sharpens the match’s comeback structure without making the injury its only appeal: the contest repeatedly shifts from one-on-one action to a three-way threat, and Lesnar has to re-enter the fight after being taken out of it.

3. Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg — WrestleMania 33
Date: April 2, 2017. Stakes: Universal Championship. Outcome: Lesnar defeated Goldberg to win the title, according to WWE’s official WrestleMania 33 results.
This belongs on a watch list for its WrestleMania title stakes and confirmed result. The official results page establishes who won and what was at stake; it does not provide a detailed match account or support a broader claim about critical consensus. Treat its place here as a high-profile championship chapter rather than a proven top pick by every measure.

These three matches make a focused watch list, not a comprehensive ranking of Lesnar’s entire WWE catalogue. The official pages cited here establish the moments and outcomes described, but they do not supply a neutral critic-vote ranking or a complete comparison of every candidate match.
