Why did they reunite at the Oscars?
The appearance marked the 15th anniversary of Bridesmaids, the 2011 comedy. The reunion took place during the 98th Academy Awards, held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood. The ceremony honored films released in 2025, according to the Academy’s official ceremony record.
What did the cast present?
The group presented the awards for best original score and best sound. During the bit, Kristen Wiig joked about the anniversary math: “Now, we are not good with numbers, but we figured out backstage that means we shot this movie in 1883.” The line was reported by the Associated Press.
