Brad Pitt’s reported property history spans Los Angeles, Carmel, France, New Orleans, New York and Mallorca, but the available reporting does not establish a complete, independently verified list of homes he owns today. The distinction matters: some properties were sold, some purchases were reported by media, and a few locations appear only in retrospective accounts.
What is known about Brad Pitt’s real estate portfolio?
Published accounts document properties associated with Pitt at different points in time, rather than a confirmed current inventory. Architectural Digest’s portfolio retrospective includes historical homes and identifies the Missouri story as a rumor, noting that it found no public records to substantiate it. Architectural Digest’s overview and Realtor.com’s portfolio coverage provide broad context, but neither establishes what Pitt owns now.
The clearest recent reported acquisitions in the coverage are a separate Los Feliz mid-century home in 2023 and a Hollywood Hills property in 2025. Earlier reporting describes a Carmel-area purchase in 2022. These are media-reported transactions, not proof of current ownership or residence.
Los Feliz: the childhood home and a separate later purchase
The long-associated compound
Architectural Digest reports that Pitt bought a Los Feliz home from Cassandra Peterson in 1994 for a reported $1.7 million. The Craftsman residence grew into a larger compound with associated features over time. In a 2017 GQ interview, Pitt referred to it as his children’s “childhood home,” as relayed by Architectural Digest.

- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The larger compound was later reported sold for $33 million. That sale should not be confused with another Los Feliz property: Architectural Digest reports that Pitt acquired a separate mid-century house from Aileen Getty for $5.5 million in 2023. The reported sale and purchase concern different properties. The outlet’s account is available in its Los Feliz transaction coverage.
A burglary report does not establish ownership
In 2025, the Associated Press reported that four people were arrested in connection with a burglary at a Los Feliz home reportedly owned by Pitt. Police could not identify who owned or lived at the house, so the incident is not evidence that Pitt owned or occupied that particular property. The AP report explicitly preserves that uncertainty.

Where does Brad Pitt live now?
The cited coverage does not identify a verified current primary residence or provide a complete current ownership list. A reported purchase can establish that a transaction was reported; it cannot, without current records, show that the buyer still owns the property or lives there. For the same reason, an old portfolio roundup is not a reliable present-day address list.
