It was destroyed in the early 2025 wildfires, so what follows is a retrospective, not a current home tour.
Why the $8 million headline is misleading
The $8 million figure belongs to a different property. Architectural Digest reported in 2017 that a glass-front Malibu house owned by Steve Hilton, Paris Hilton’s uncle, sold for that amount. Its description cannot be used as an interior tour of Paris Hilton’s home. Architectural Digest’s account of Steve Hilton’s house identifies it as a distinct property.
Paris Hilton and Carter Reum’s separate beachfront home was reported purchased for $8.4 million, five months before their 2021 wedding. Architectural Digest’s coverage of the couple’s home gives the details of that property.

What Paris Hilton’s Malibu home looked like
The couple’s home was a 3,000-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom beachfront house built in 1955. Architectural Digest described it as contemporary, with floor-to-ceiling glass facing the Pacific and multiple balconies. A promotional video showed an airy, all-white kitchen; stairs led from a deck directly onto the beach.

That is the extent of the sourced interior picture. The available reporting does not provide a complete room-by-room inventory, so details such as furnishings, finishes in other rooms or the layout of private spaces should not be inferred from photographs or from descriptions of Steve Hilton’s separate house.
The separate house behind the glass-mansion description
Steve Hilton’s property was described by Architectural Digest as a unique three-story house built in 1988 and renovated in 2010 by architect Jay Vanos. The 2017 sale report listed four bedrooms and four bathrooms. Its features included glass-lined decks with coastal and Catalina Island views, skylights, glass partitions, hardwood floors and an open-plan kitchen, living and dining area. The report also described a custom saltwater aquarium and a courtyard with a tiled hot tub and outdoor fireplace.

These details explain why the two homes can be confused in Malibu-mansion coverage, but they belong to Steve Hilton’s house, not Paris Hilton and Carter Reum’s beachfront property.

Architectural Digest reported that the couple’s Malibu home was destroyed in the early 2025 wildfires. Hilton wrote on Instagram, in words quoted by the magazine: “Heartbroken beyond words. Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.” She said her family and pets were safe. The magazine’s report on the loss recounts her public response.

In a March 2026 report, the Associated Press quoted Hilton describing the loss of the home where she was raising her young children as “very emotional.” The AP report covered her comments in the context of recovery efforts.
