The Indian Express reported ₹250 crore worldwide, citing the makers, while Hindustan Times and Sacnilk reported ₹251 crore. Each figure is a worldwide gross for the four-day reporting window; neither should be confused with India net collections.

The reports do not establish a single shared measurement method, so the ₹250 crore and ₹251 crore figures are best read as slightly different reported totals rather than as a precise audited reconciliation.
Why the day-four domestic figures differ
Day four was Republic Day, January 26, 2026, within the film’s extended opening weekend. Reports published around that date give different domestic numbers, and they should not be treated as interchangeable.

India net is the domestic theatrical collection after the applicable deductions; India gross is a different measure. A net estimate from one outlet cannot be directly compared with a gross figure from another.
What the Sikandar comparison means
Hindustan Times reported that Border 2 had surpassed Sikandar’s reported ₹184 crore lifetime collection by day four. That comparison is the outlet’s reported box-office milestone; the cited report does not provide a like-for-like breakdown establishing that both totals use the same geographic scope and accounting basis. It should therefore be attributed rather than presented as an independently verified comparison.
