Smith Jr. and Skai Jackson. Those reports described claims about the pair’s relationship and breakup, but the material was not independently authenticated in the sources reviewed. They also do not verify that Beyoncé said, “Come get her nephew.”
What the January 2021 reports said
Entertainment outlets reported that screenshots said to show messages about Smith and Jackson were circulating online. Dexerto’s January 17 article described the screenshots as “unverified,” a qualification that matters: coverage of circulating images does not establish who made them, whether they were complete, or whether the statements attributed to the people named were genuine.
Monsters and Critics also covered dating rumors and alleged group-chat remarks, attributing details to social-media material rather than to a direct statement from Smith or Jackson. The claims should therefore be understood as allegations reported at the time, not as confirmed facts about their relationship.
BCK Online’s January 22 report discussed alleged group-chat messages and a purported video. It said neither Smith nor Jackson had directly commented on the scandal at that point. That report describes what was being discussed online; it does not independently establish who created or shared the material.

Did Beyoncé say “Come get her nephew”?
The sources reviewed do not verify that Beyoncé made that remark. The phrase belongs to the headline wording, not to a confirmed quotation from her. None of the cited coverage supplies an authenticated statement from Beyoncé supporting the attribution.
Who is Julez Smith?
Monsters and Critics identifies Daniel Julez J. Smith Jr. as Solange Knowles’s son and Beyoncé’s nephew. Its article provides that family context while reporting on dating rumors and alleged online remarks; it is not a primary statement from Smith, Jackson, Solange, or Beyoncé.
