The performance took place during Netflix’s first NFL Christmas Gameday, at the Ravens–Texans regular-season game in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston. Netflix announced the matchup and broadcast details in its November 18, 2024, game announcement. Netflix and the NFL called the halftime performance “Beyoncé Bowl.”
The show lasted more than 12 minutes, according to Netflix’s announcement; the Associated Press described it as nearly 13 minutes in its December 25 event report. Beyoncé made a dramatic entrance on a white horse, as reported by AP and Pitchfork.
Who joined Beyoncé onstage?
Blue Ivy Carter
Blue Ivy, Beyoncé’s eldest daughter, appeared as a featured dancer. Netflix confirms her participation; Pitchfork reports that she danced with her mother during “Texas Hold ’Em.”

How many people watched the Ravens–Texans game?
Netflix reported, citing Nielsen, that the game averaged 24.3 million viewers in the U.S. by average-minute audience (AMA). Separately, Netflix reported that U.S. viewership peaked above 27 million during Beyoncé Bowl. The peak is not the game’s average-minute audience.
Netflix said its AMA calculation combined Nielsen Fast National Live + Same Day data—including out-of-home viewing and CBS local-market viewing—with Netflix mobile and web data and NFL+ mobile viewing. It also reported 5.1 million U.S. viewers ages 18–34 for the game, describing that as a record for that demographic dating back to 2001. These figures and its report that #BeyonceBowl was the number-one worldwide trend on X when the performance began were published by Netflix on December 26, 2024; the trend ranking measures visibility, not audience approval.
