BET+ is no longer a standalone streaming service. Paramount Skydance says its programming was integrated into Paramount+ during the second quarter of 2026, bringing more than 1,000 hours of BET originals, movies, and specials to the platform. The BET Hub is the place to look for that programming, though the catalog varies by market and some subscribers need to take action based on who billed them.
What happened to BET+?
BET+ has been phased out as a separate streaming service, and its programming has moved into Paramount+. Paramount Skydance’s Q2 2026 shareholder letter says the integration was completed during the quarter and brought more than 1,000 hours of BET originals, movies, and specials to Paramount+ (Paramount Skydance Q2 2026 shareholder letter). Parks Associates also lists BET+ as phased out in Q2 2026 in its September 23, 2026 tracker (Parks Associates).
The timing matters: earlier customer notices said BET+ was closed to new subscribers and would shut down completely over the summer. The later company filing reports that the integration was complete in Q2. This is a change to the standalone streaming service; it does not establish that the BET brand, its linear channel, or every other BET digital operation has shut down.
Where to watch BET shows and movies
Look for the BET Hub inside Paramount+. Paramount support describes the hub as a dedicated destination for BET series, films, and specials. Its instructions vary by device (Paramount+ support):

The migration figure is a company-reported total, not a guarantee that every former BET+ title is available to every viewer. Paramount says availability varies by market and is subject to licensing and other rights restrictions. Check the Paramount+ catalog in your location for a particular show or film (Paramount+ support).
Will your BET+ subscription transfer?
Whether you need to act depends on the company that billed your BET+ subscription. Paramount says Apple- and Roku-billed subscriptions transfer automatically to a Paramount+ subscription. Subscriptions billed through Amazon, BET, or Google do not transfer automatically (Paramount+ support).

If you need help with a specific account or billing situation, Paramount directs subscribers to BET+ customer care. Earlier BET+ guidance said closure and possible refund details would be sent to subscribers by email; it does not establish a universal refund amount or a single transfer date (BET+ Help Center).
Availability caveat for Puerto Rico
Paramount’s support page says Paramount+ is not available to residents of Puerto Rico. That means the general direction to find BET programming on Paramount+ may not be an option for viewers there. Check the service’s current regional guidance for your location before making account or viewing plans (Paramount+ support).

Why move a standalone service into a larger platform?
The change fits a broader distribution pattern: Parks Associates has described content moving from standalone apps to larger platforms and free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channels. Its tracker frames the shift in terms of audience reach and changing distribution models, but it does not establish Paramount’s specific reason for consolidating BET+ into Paramount+ (Parks Associates). The company’s shareholder letter says engagement among migrated subscribers increased meaningfully compared with BET+’s year-to-date average, without giving a numeric increase.
