For one meditation video hosted on YouTube, use YouTube’s built-in Loop or Repeat control. It works without a paid subscription: right-click the player and choose Loop on a computer, or use Settings → Additional settings → Loop video in the mobile app. For an all-day session, also prevent the device from sleeping and keep it powered and connected; repeat mode alone does not guarantee uninterrupted playback.
How to repeat a YouTube meditation video
On a computer
- Open the meditation video on YouTube.
- Right-click inside the video player.
- Select Loop. YouTube will repeat the current video.
On a phone or tablet
- Open the video in the YouTube app.
- Open the video’s Settings.
- Choose Additional settings, then Loop video.
On a TV or gaming console
- Start the video and press down on the remote or controller to show the playback controls.
- Select Repeat until the control indicates that the current video will repeat. Depending on the device, repeat may also appear in the video’s Settings menu.
YouTube documents repeat controls across computer, mobile, TV, and gaming-console device groups. The precise menu labels and placement can vary by device. YouTube Help: Loop videos or playlists on YouTube.
Keep playback going through the day
Repeat tells YouTube what to play next; it does not keep a device awake, online, or free of interruptions. YouTube’s instructions do not guarantee an uninterrupted all-day session across every device. Before relying on playback, check these practical settings:
- Connect the phone, tablet, laptop, TV, or console to stable power.
- Use a stable internet connection and confirm the video is still playing in repeat mode.
- Check screen-saver, sleep, and auto-lock settings. A device that sleeps or a display that turns off may affect playback, depending on its settings and app.
- On a phone or tablet, check whether battery-saving features or app restrictions are stopping YouTube in the background.
- If you cast to a TV, verify that the cast session and repeat setting remain active on that device.
Choose the option that matches your listening setup

To compare these options for your situation, consider whether your device supports the control, whether ads matter, whether you need playback with the screen off, whether you want to repeat a whole video, a playlist, or just a section, and whether a paid feature is available where you live.
