For US viewers, five standout picks reported as leaving Netflix in June 2025 were The Dark Knight (June 1), Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story (June 11), Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire (June 14), Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (June 16), and Migration (June 19). This is a historical watch-priority guide, not a current Netflix departure calendar; the choices are editorial recommendations, not an objective ranking.
Five movies to prioritize
The dates below are the reported June 2025 departure dates in US-focused roundups from BGR and TechRadar. The sources do not establish the exact last hour each title could be watched.
| Reported departure date | Movie | Why it may be worth your time |
|---|---|---|
| June 1, 2025 | The Dark Knight | A prominent chapter in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, highlighted by both roundups. A natural pick for superhero and crime-thriller fans. |
| June 11, 2025 | Gran Turismo: Based on a True Story | A biographical sports drama about a teenage gamer’s path toward professional racing. Consider it if you like underdog stories or motorsport. |
| June 14, 2025 | Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire | A large-scale Monsterverse adventure built around two iconic monsters; best suited to viewers looking for creature-feature spectacle. |
| June 16, 2025 | Won’t You Be My Neighbor? | Morgan Neville’s documentary examines Fred Rogers and the legacy of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. This is the documentary pick in the five-film selection. |
| June 19, 2025 | Migration | Illumination’s animated adventure follows a mallard family on a migration journey, making it the family-oriented choice among these picks. |

How to read the dates—and what they mean now
These lists describe US availability in June 2025, not worldwide Netflix catalogs. Streaming rights vary by territory and can change over time, including through later licensing. The sources use departure dates as listing labels, and their conventions can differ: What’s on Netflix explains that it lists a title on its actual removal day, so a film listed as leaving July 1 has June 30 as its last full viewing day. The June 1 listing for The Dark Knight should therefore be treated as a reported date, not a guarantee of a particular final viewing hour.
These historical reports do not establish whether any of the films are available on Netflix in 2026. Check the catalog for your country before planning a present-day viewing.
