Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →For a low-cost VPS starting point, NivoHost’s Windows streaming offer is the closest match to a continuously running YouTube stream; Inservers is a Linux alternative. Those are provider-listed specifications, not independently tested winners, and the right choice depends on your target quality, data terms, setup skills and recovery needs. If your sleep-sounds stream uses prerecorded audio or video and you would rather not administer a server, StreamNeo is the first cloud option to consider: it loops uploaded media to YouTube, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and gives a first day free.
Start with the managed option if you do not need to run a server
For prerecorded sleep sounds, a VPS is one way to keep an encoder or relay online, but it also leaves server setup and recovery to you. StreamNeo is a cloud service for uploaded videos and playlists that keeps a YouTube channel live 24/7. You upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live; the cloud handles looping, so your computer and home connection do not have to stay on. It streams the uploaded file as made, up to 4K 60fps, without re-encoding, and automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream.
Each slot includes 10 GB of storage, pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, and support from the StreamNeo team. The same features apply across billing lengths:
- Daily $0.99 per day
- Weekly $2.99 per week
- Monthly $9.99 per month
- 6 months $49.99 for 6 months
- Yearly $89.99 a year
The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. UPI and cards are accepted in India; card checkout is available worldwide. For five or more slots, contact support. See StreamNeo or its pricing page.

Budget VPS offers in India
The following are provider-listed offers captured for this comparison. Prices and plans can change; verify the current checkout, renewal terms, taxes and service policies before buying.
| Provider and offer | Listed entry specifications | What to take from the listing |
|---|---|---|
| NivoHost RDP 1 | ₹699/month, tax included; one stream handle; 360p at 10 fps; audio listed at 124 kbps; 2 CPU cores, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB SSD, 20 TB bandwidth and a 1 Gbps port. | Most directly marketed for continuous YouTube streaming. The provider also claims 99% uptime and automatic restart; check the actual SLA and recovery behavior rather than treating those statements as a guarantee. |
| Inservers IN-BASIC | From ₹880/month; 2 vCores, 4 GB RAM, 40 GB NVMe SSD and a claimed unmetered 1 Gbps uplink. | A Linux option marketed for streaming and RTMP relay. Confirm what “unmetered” means under its acceptable-use and billing terms. |
NivoHost lists higher tiers at ₹999/month for 480p/15 fps, ₹1,799/month for 720p/30 fps and ₹3,499/month for 1080p/60 fps; their resources and stream-handle counts differ. These are provider specifications, not proof that a given configuration will run reliably. Inservers also lists higher tiers and says CPU needs increase for transcoding. Relaying an already encoded feed is a different workload from transcoding video, so establish which one your setup needs before selecting a server.

Choose a VPS based on the actual stream
Set the target quality and bitrate first
NivoHost’s entry offer is specified for 360p at 10 fps; do not treat it as equivalent to a higher-resolution or higher-frame-rate tier. YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends choosing a quality that can be sustained by the available connection, testing upload bitrate, using representative audio and motion, and monitoring stream health. For H.264, YouTube lists recommended bitrates of 3 Mbps for 360p/30 fps, 4 Mbps for 480p/30 fps, 8 Mbps for 720p/30 fps and 10 Mbps for 1080p/30 fps. Recommendations vary by codec and frame rate, so consult YouTube’s table for the exact configuration you intend to use: YouTube encoder settings.
For a sleep-sounds stream, decide whether the live picture is static, animated or a full-motion loop. That affects both the intended encoding settings and whether the server must encode video or only send an already encoded stream. Do not select a plan solely from its advertised resolution label.
Check transfer, not just the port number
A 1 Gbps port describes a port rate, not necessarily the amount of data included in a month or the quality of the route to YouTube’s ingest servers. YouTube advises that total stream bitrate should not exceed available upload capacity and recommends 20% headroom; it also warns that network disruptions can break a stream. Check included monthly transfer, the meaning of any “unmetered” claim, sustained throughput, route quality and what recovery process is available. See YouTube’s streaming guidance.

Match the operating system and support model to your skills
NivoHost’s listed offer is a Windows remote desktop, which may suit someone who wants to configure streaming software through a graphical desktop. Inservers’ listing is for Linux and targets a configurable server workflow. Neither listing establishes that a particular looping setup is preinstalled or plug-and-play. Before ordering, ask what support covers and whether you are responsible for installing, configuring and supervising the encoder or relay.
Compare full recurring costs and recovery terms
- Confirm whether the displayed price is introductory or recurring, whether tax is included, and what the renewal price and billing term will be.
- Check for transfer limits, overage charges, software or licensing costs, and any restrictions relevant to continuous streaming.
- Ask whether automatic restart is included in your exact plan, what triggers it, and whether it recovers only the server or also restarts the stream encoder.
- Read the applicable uptime commitment and support terms. Provider marketing claims are not independent performance evidence.
Configure the YouTube stream and plan for continuity
Use the settings appropriate to your encoder
YouTube supports RTMP or RTMPS ingestion and lists H.264, H.265 and AV1 as supported codecs. Its guidance recommends constant bitrate encoding and a two-second keyframe interval, not over four seconds; it recommends RTMPS for encrypted ingestion. The bitrate figures above are H.264 recommendations for the stated resolutions and frame rates, not a universal setting for every codec.
Quick wins for a faster PC:
Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsFree Scan →Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →- Choose the YouTube resolution, frame rate, codec and bitrate that your VPS and stream design can sustain.
- Set constant bitrate and a two-second keyframe interval where supported by your encoder, keeping within YouTube’s stated limit of four seconds.
- Use RTMPS where your encoder supports it and enter the stream key carefully. Treat the key as a credential; do not share it or place it in public logs.
- Test with the actual sleep-sounds audio and visual loop, then inspect YouTube’s stream health before relying on the setup continuously.
Do not confuse server uptime with stream continuity: YouTube notes that network disruption can break a stream, so define how you will detect a failure and restart the encoder or relay.

Understand the 12-hour archive warning
YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived and warns that streams exceeding 12 hours may not be captured at all. This is an archive limitation, not a universal maximum duration for going live. If retaining a recording matters, plan a separate recording or archive workflow rather than assuming a very long live session will become a complete replay. See YouTube’s live stream archive guidance.
Check copyright and monetization before looping sleep sounds
Having a file available to upload does not by itself establish that you have the rights to stream its music, ambient recordings, visuals or samples. Use material you created or are licensed to use for live streaming, and check that the license covers the intended platform, continuous use and any monetization. YouTube’s reused-content and monetization rules are separate from copyright permission: content may raise monetization concerns even if you have permission to use it. Review the current copyright safety checklist and YouTube’s applicable policies before putting a loop on air.

The stream drops despite a fast advertised port
Possible causes include monthly transfer restrictions, unstable sustained throughput, a poor route to YouTube ingest, or no encoder recovery after a connection break. Verify the data terms and test the stream at its intended bitrate; build a restart procedure instead of assuming the port rating settles reliability.

The chosen plan cannot deliver the intended quality
Compare the actual encoder resolution and frame rate with the provider’s listed stream specification and resources. For example, NivoHost’s ₹699/month entry offer is listed for 360p/10 fps, while its higher tiers list different configurations. If the workflow requires transcoding, ask the provider whether the offered CPU resources suit that workload.
“Unmetered” or restart claims are unclear
Ask Inservers what its unmetered uplink permits under the acceptable-use policy and billing terms. Ask NivoHost which plan includes automatic restart and what it restarts. For either provider, distinguish a vendor claim from a contractual commitment and from demonstrated performance under your workload.
The live stream is available but no complete replay appears
Check whether the session exceeded YouTube’s 12-hour archive threshold; YouTube warns such streams may not be captured. Use a separate recording plan if an archive is essential.
