The listings checked on 3 October 2026 show HeavenCloud’s Mumbai VPS at ₹390/month and Endercloud’s Mumbai VPS at ₹999/month. These are provider-advertised plans, not independently tested recommendations; check current terms and calculate your stream’s data needs before buying.
Which budget VPS plans are worth comparing?
The two Mumbai listings below provide a starting point, not a market-wide ranking. Their listed resources, prices and network claims come from the providers and may change.
| Option | Advertised details | What to verify |
|---|---|---|
| HeavenCloud Mumbai VPS | ₹390/month; 2 dedicated cores, 2 GB RAM, 15 GB SSD, 1 Gbps unmetered network. | The listing’s transfer conditions and whether the plan’s compute is sufficient for your workflow. “Unmetered” and the resource claims are not independent performance guarantees. |
| Endercloud Mumbai VPS | ₹999/month; 3 vCore, 8 GB ECC RAM, 50 GB NVMe, 2 TB bandwidth at 1 Gbps. | Whether the stated 2 TB allowance covers your calculated traffic, along with overage terms. A 1 Gbps port does not establish continuous 1 Gbps throughput or unlimited monthly data. |
Provider prices were displayed on the official pages accessed 3 October 2026. Confirm checkout totals, GST, renewal pricing, availability, bandwidth definitions, storage and service limits before purchase. These listings do not establish which provider performs best on a real stream.
How much bandwidth does a 24/7 YouTube stream need?
Bitrate determines the bulk of a continuous stream’s outgoing data. For a rough estimate, each 1 Mbps sustained for 30 days transfers about 324 GB in decimal units, before audio, protocol overhead or other server traffic. Multiply that estimate by your intended bitrate in Mbps; leave headroom and verify how the VPS provider measures and bills traffic.
#1 Best Overall
| H.264 output | YouTube recommended bitrate | Approximate 30-day data at that bitrate |
|---|---|---|
| 720p30 or 720p60 | 8 Mbps | About 2.6 TB |
| 1080p30 | 14 Mbps | About 4.5 TB |
| 1080p60 | 17 Mbps | About 5.5 TB |
| 1440p60 | 34 Mbps | About 11 TB |
| 2160p60 | 50 Mbps | About 16.2 TB |
The bitrate recommendations are from YouTube’s live encoder guidance; the monthly figures are estimates derived from bitrate and a 30-day continuous duration, not provider allowances or performance tests. Actual transfer varies with stream duration, audio, protocol overhead and other traffic. The Endercloud listing’s stated 2 TB would be below these rough full-month examples, so calculate for your own schedule and output before relying on it.
Relay a prepared file or encode it on the VPS?
A prerecorded video can be relayed if it is already prepared for the intended output settings. That is different from transcoding: changing resolution, frame rate or codec while streaming adds processing work. The reviewed provider pages do not establish guaranteed CPU capacity for a particular encoder command, so do not assume a plan will encode a chosen format simply from its core count.

YouTube’s current guidance lists RTMP and RTMPS protocols; H.264, H.265 (HEVC) and AV1 video codecs; up to 60 fps; and constant bitrate (CBR) encoding. It recommends a two-second keyframe interval and says not to exceed four seconds. YouTube recommends RTMPS and says stream data is encrypted into and through Google’s servers. Follow its current settings guidance for your selected codec and resolution, test before going live, and monitor stream health.
YouTube also advises choosing a quality that is reliable for the available connection and recommends testing upload bitrate. Those encoder recommendations are not a guarantee that a particular VPS, location or route can sustain the stream. No independent tests of these plans’ sustained upload, dropped frames or route to YouTube ingestion are available here.

What to check before choosing a VPS
- Output and workload: Decide the resolution and frame rate, then whether the server only relays an already prepared file or also encodes it.
- Traffic terms: Compare your estimated monthly transfer with the included allowance, overage policy and provider’s definition of bandwidth. A port-speed figure is not a monthly data allowance.
- Total cost: Check taxes, renewal pricing, storage, operating system and any licensing charges—not only the displayed starting rent.
- Location and route: A Mumbai server may be geographically convenient, but the listing alone does not prove its route to YouTube ingestion or stream quality.
- Administration and recovery: A VPS is self-managed unless the provider contract says otherwise. Plan for setup, monitoring, stream-key protection and recovery if the process or stream fails.
- Source storage: Ensure there is enough space for the video files as well as the operating system and any working files. Compare your media size with the advertised disk capacity.
Running the loop is an operational responsibility
With a self-managed VPS, you are responsible for configuring the encoder or relay, starting and supervising the process, protecting the YouTube stream key, and restoring service after an interruption. Confirm that your chosen software and operating system support the file and output settings you need. The plan listings do not establish that a provider will monitor or restart your stream.
Protect the stream key as a credential: do not publish it in a script, log, screenshot or public repository. If it is exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update the running encoder. Test the stream before relying on it, and watch YouTube’s stream-health feedback so you can identify ingest or encoding problems rather than treating a running server process as proof that viewers can see the stream.

Or let it run in the cloud
If you want a managed YouTube prerecorded-video loop instead of administering a VPS, StreamNeo lets you upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It runs from the cloud, so nothing has to stay on at home. The uploaded video streams as made, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; StreamNeo advertises automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream.
Every slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, and support from the StreamNeo team. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. UPI and cards are available in India; card checkout is available worldwide. The same product is on every plan; only the billing period changes. Verify current terms on the provider’s site.
